Good Morning! Today is Friday, January 30, 2009 a sunny day with a breeze. Needless to say, it is rather chilly this morning. Supposed to get down to 26 degrees tonight. I truly hope the the weather man is wrong this time.

Started working on the clay Book of Shadows yesterday they are coming along nicely. I enjoy making these. Everyone of them is different and unique. I can add whatever I want to add to them, like stones or pouches.

Brightest Blessings Aura Picture An "Old Soul"

Good Morning! Today is January 28, 2009 and a sunny at times morning. Not complaining at all. It is supposed to get back in the twenties this weekend. Maybe the weather man will be wrong about this, it wouldn't be the first time. Let's hope so.

The squirrels are loving the sunshine. Playing on the limbs like little monkeys. The sparrows and cardinals are in the feeder and the doves are waddling around pecking on the ground. They just don't care, very funny to watch them.

This is my aura picture taken by Ms Kay. Tried to scan it, however the scanner is not wanting to work with me this morning. So I did the next best thing and took a picture of it. Still not the colors that are in the picture, but this is all I could figure out to do.

Anyway, this is the old soul aura. Here is what Ms Kay has to say:
The very unique configuration of colors in this aura are indicative of a "very old soul". This is someone who has completed all their karma and will move on to a higher plane the next time around. They are always surrounded by angels. These souls are in transition and are here to help others in transition.

I was at first stunned and then this calming came over me. It was almost like a relief to know. I was talking to Patti, the shop owner, and she told me that she had also gotten her "old soul" aura picture too.

You know, death is hard on the living, not the dying. The ones that are left here are the ones that hurt and won't let go. The dying are the ones that know they will not suffer any longer, either physical or emotional.

Am I afraid of death? No, I worry more about my husband, kids and grandkids that will not continue to grow and live their lives. My husband is still not comfortable talking about death, however it is something that is going to happen to all of us.

When I move on to the next realm, I want the family to spend time in the kitchen together, making the biggest Mexican feast they have ever been to. Lay out that spread of food, sit together at the table talk with one another and have fun.

I remember a poem, don't remember who wrote it but it says, "Remember yesterday, Dream about tomorrow, But live today!"

Today I am going to make a couple of my clay Book of Shadows. I haven't made any of them in a while and think it is about time. They are very time consuming, but well worth the time. I love mine, use it for my journal. These are a clay cover with a wooden back. Then of course I have an herb pouch on it with stones, not to mention it is purple.

I hope to have them finished sometime this weekend and listed in my Bonanzle booth, Brightest Blessings Wiccans . Sharon of SNL Designs, contacted me yesterday about my templates and I am so excited. She does such wonderful work, and very easy to work with. That girl has so kind of talent! Boy is that going to be a chore to change all of my listings to templates, however more than worth it, the results will be just super.

Business At Brightest Blessings Bonanzle Booth

Good morning! Today is January 29, 2009 and a beautiful day it is! The sun is up and shinning. It's warm again! Well, maybe not that warm, but a whole lot warmer than it has been. Not going near the pool anytime soon.

This little rose bush is just growing! This is the purple rose bush that mom gave me that was all but dead and this is a picture of the shoot. It is about three feet tall and all kinds of new growth. I am just thrilled with this little guy, can't wait to see what he has to offer this summer.

Had to fill the feeder again this morning. But what joy that brings! So many sparrows this morning. The doves have been ugly to one another. I am not sure what this is all about. Usually they could care less what is going on around them, just waddle around pecking at the ground, they have never been to the feeder.

Business has been picking up every week! Love my new home at Bonanzle. New business cards, magnets, return address and soon to have matching templates by Sharon at SNL Designs. Can you tell that I am excited? She is having issues with the code that is used on Bonanzle, when we view them, they look great, then all of the white shows up and that isn't there to start with. Hopefully Bill will come up with an answer or solution so that I can get my templates. Going through the are we there yet feelings. This is the ONLY thing that I miss about e-bay. These templates made my store mine. With my new OOak design, they will make my booth mine here at Bonanzle.

Checking Google Analytics everyday to see what is and isn't working to bring traffic to my booth. You would be so surprised at what you think is a good thing and working only to find out it is a complete waste of time not to mention sends that bounce rate sky high. So needless to say, I have changed my way of promoting my Bonanzle booth. Going to stay away from the sites that cause such a high bounce rate. So far I have brought my bounce rate down by almost 10% and upped my new visitors up to 31%.

WOW! It is pouring down rain! What happened to the sunshine? Although we need the rain that was a real shocker.

Going to get busy making those clay and wood Book of Shadows this morning. Excited out doing them again!

New Moon and Solar Eclipse Today! Brightest Blessings!

Good afternoon! Today is Monday, January 26, 2009. It is about 68 degrees right now with overcast. Time to fill the feeder again, a sparrow was trapped in there, they can get in but they can't seem to be able to find their way out.

My poor little confused miniature Japanese bush is confused. It is so unsure of the season. All summer is it green with lots of leaves, then the winter comes and no leaves, but look at the buds and flowers! I took this picture this morning.

Today is a New Moon, time to write those Abundance Checks and smudge your home. It is also a solar eclipse. There is nothing subtle about a solar eclipse. Look up your sign at astrologyzone.com to see what this solar eclipse has in store for you!

Brightest Blessings Day With Grandson

Good Morning! Today is Sunday, January 25, 2009. The sun is peaking through the clouds this morning and it is supposed to get to the 70's today. Have to find out what kind of birds have joined in our little sanctuary this past week. There are two different ones that I have never seen nor my husband.

We went to get our aura pictures taken yesterday. Ms Kay has been doing our families aura pictures for the last few years. She is great will send out e-mails when she is coming to town. Still waiting for a group discount. This is the grandson's aura. An indigo child. These children are so misunderstood. Most of the time they wind up on drugs for Add or ADH. Treat them like an adult, challenge their thinking. Keep them active, no video games are not active.

We then got home in time to watch the live auction, done at Auction Wally's Bonanzle booth. We went to log in about five minutes till one and dang it man, no internet. There are not enough bad things I can say about Comcast. Their service is out more than on. On and off all day there is always an excuse for their poor service.

Anyway about one-thirty we finally got logged in and it was a thrill for him. He wants to "talk wike dat", he thought that was so neat. He kept saying how does he talk like that. This was his first auction, so that was pretty cool.

From the auction we went to rake the yard and burn the leaves. Needless to say that after the yard work he was ready for dinner. Then to make chocolate chip cookies, bath and he passed out.

Good Morning! Today is January 23, 2009 and the sun is shinning. It is supposed to get into the 60's today! The cardinals seem t be enjoying the sun this morning and playing with others nicely. The little sparrows have taken over the ground again, with a few doves waddling around. The squirrels are playing in the branches, like kids at the playground.

I have the honor of having my five year old grandson this weekend! He is at that fun age and loves to do anything. Ms Kay is here this weekend taking aura pictures, so I thought I would take him and go to get our pictures done. This of course will be his first and I will start him his own BOS for his pictures and time spent here at my house.

Business has been steady, nothing to complain about. There have been so many neat new sellers coming to Bonanzle. Just love the variety. One of my favorite Bonanzle booths is OctoberMoon's. This lady has the neatest stuff, things to make family memories. The old balsa airplane kits, fondue pot, games and craft books. She is a pleasure to work with, gets my order shipped right out and doesn't jack the shipping up.

Remember there is a new moon on Monday, so make sure that you have your smudge stick on hand to smudge your home and remember to write those abundance checks.

Brightest Blessings Bonanzle Booth

Good Morning! Today is Thursday, January 22, 2009. The sun is shining and the temperature is 14 degrees outside. Good news is it is supposed to get into the 60's today. The doves are walking into the yard to get their breakfast. The squirrels are enjoying the corn, while the cardinals are just watching the sparrows from the fence.

Still no word from Sharon about the templates. However, I did get my corn dollies finished and listed in my BrightestBlessings Bonanzle booth. So excited about that. Bonanzle has had a few changes this morning and for the better of the community. If you would like to read more you can at Bill's Bonanzle Blog.

The days are getting longer, as I was washing dishes last night, I thought that I was really ahead of schedule, it was still light outside. Then I looked at the clock, wow it is still day light. Spring will be here before we know it with all of the new growth, new beginings.

Imbolc is 11 days away! I decorated my altar to honor Brigid with lots of candles, in yellows, greens, white, pinks and pale blue, with a white and gold altar cloth. It looks so pretty, so bright and warm.

Brightest Blessings Bonanzle Booth

Good Morning! Today is January 20, 2009 and a very clear and chilly day. Running behind this morning, the phone will not quit ringing. Need to go and get more bird seed, have used close to 30 pounds this week.

Tried to get pictures yesterday of my corn dollies to list in my Bonanzle booth, the batteries were dead and the sun was not shinning. So this is one of my chores to get done today. Now if the wind will settle down, I may just be able to get some pictures.

I still haven't heard anything back from Sharon on my templates, no news is good news. I am really liking this branding. My e-mail business card looks good and was very easy to use. Just a heads up, if you order from Vista Print, you need to be using Internet Explorer to download your file, Firefox will not download it correctly.

Received the magnets and business cards which look awesome! Still waiting on the return labels. They are also the same design. Should be here soon really looking forward to putting everything together.

Working on putting together Ostara altar kits, ordered a few items yesterday. Very excited about putting these altar kits together. I decided that this was the year to add new items to my own altars, change them up. Something new......

Good morning! Today is Monday, January 19, 2009 and very foggy this morning. Not complaining, it is a little warmer today. The squirrels are binging off of the trees scattering the birds. One lone sparrow is sitting in the feeder. That little rose bush that was all but dead is thriving, even has new growth, which i half the size of the rose bush itself.

I did get my corn dollies made and will get a few of them listed today in my Bonanzle booth. I love to make these and can't wait for my grand children to get just a little bigger to teach them. My one grandson of five loves to spend the night. I get to keep him over spring break and am very excited about that.

He loves to keep busy, so I found these really neat wooden kits on Bonanzle to make. We are going to make two bird houses, two planters and a napkin holder. We also plan on getting the flowers planted and a vegetable garden in. So now I am looking for the good sets of rakes and hoes for the little gardener.

Today is Saturday, January 17,2009. A beautiful sunrise this morning, very cold here. Only a couple of sparrows this morning, maybe to cold for the other critters too.

Today I will get a few corn dollies made and maybe even list a couple of them to sell. Have to work on more Book of Shadows this week. Two more sold yesterday and a special order. Might even have time to work on my altar cloths.

Hubby's days off have been changed so that really messes me up on my work schedule here. Then of course I am never really sure of the day of the week. Today should be Sunday and it is Saturday.

Did talk him into expanding on his education and go for his IA certification. He will have no problem in getting it, just needs the push to do it. If you don't like where your job is going, then you have to look at your options and take action. There is no sense in being unhappy at a job, you spend to many hours of your life there.

Heard back from my friend and she is "back to normal" as she put it. Imagine that.....It's time to start thinking about all of the things that we don't need in our lives and the things that are important. Moving in new directions and letting go of the things that are no longer needed or good for us.

Good Morning! Today is Wednesday, January 14, 2009 and really cold here this morning. The weather man is calling for 28 and rain tomorrow, I don't think that is any longer considered rain at 28 degrees. The sun is shinning and the squirrels are really enjoying the corn this morning. The ground appears to be moving, so many sparrows. The cardinals have come and gone, the only ones left to eat this morning are the doves.

Got an e-mail from a friend late yesterday. Things in her life are "falling apart". After reading, I responded with, when was the last time that you smudged? Protection spells, oils, grounded yourself? Had time to meditate, had any "me" time?

I haven't heard anything back from her this morning, which means she doesn't remember when the last time was or she is really busy taking care of things that needed to be done before now.

It's funny how we forget our priorities. I would take bets that you don't for get to write that Abundance Check on the New Moon. However, to sweep your home of negativity or unwanted things, we seem to "forget" or just, and I love this one, "don't have time".

Now is the perfect time, it's January work on the protection of your family and loved ones. Make it a priority today to do. Yes you do have time, mark it on your calendar today and do it. Don't wait until your life is "falling apart" to do something.

Got a few things finished up last night for my Bonanzle booth so I need to get them listed and on to other things that have found themselves on the back burner lately. See we all need a nudge every now and again.

Good Morning! Today is Tuesday, January 13, 2009, raining here and very cool. If it gets much cooler here it won't be rain. The sparrows have taken over the feeder this morning, leaving the doves and cardinals to the ground work. I believe this cooler weather makes the squirrels really crazy. They just ping from the base of one tree to the other and then do it all over again.

Got my special orders out yesterday, everyone should have their new Book of Shadows by Wednesday.

Also got a few more totes done yesterday and will finish them up this morning. Then to get pictures and get them listed. Will be working on a few new projects the next couple of weeks. I love working on new projects, don't care for the listing, however at Bonanzle it isn't a chore to do.

Still no word from Sharon at SNL Designs, however these templates are a lot of work. Like I have said before, she does quality work, and well worth the wait! Good Morning! Today is Monday, January 12, 2009 and a beautiful day it is! A little foggy this morning, that is burning off quickly. The sky is blue an looks like there will not be rain today. The critters have all come to eat and a few stragglers are still here.

The Wolf Moon on Saturday was so intense! The energy level was off the chart, and the beauty was just awesome. Something very different about this one.

Have to cut it short today, have three Book of Shadows that are special orders that I need to finish up today and get out to the Post Office. Also have some new Altar cloths to work on and get finished up.

Brightest Blessings Wiccans Bonanzle Booth

Good Morning! Today is Sunday, January 11, 2009, cool with over cast day. Lots of clouds in the sky this morning. All is quiet this Sunday morning. The squirrels, sparrows, doves and cardinals have all come to eat and are gone.

Have been doing lots of thinking about my business for 2009, maybe to much. Hubby usually doesn't say to much as far as my business goes other than, sounds good, way to go, sure that would be great, well last night he asked me, why are you promoting Bonanzle instead of your business? Well......to draw buyers to the site. It's a great community with lots of potential.

His next question was, why don't you just go set up your own site? You are spending hours promoting anyway, why not just promote your own site? I had no answer for him.

The conversation was not over, you know that most of your customers are coming from search engines and the paid advertising that you do on pagan sites, you really need to think about setting up your own site. You found out that there was life after e-bay. So what is the big deal?

This is something that I had thought about doing at the end of this new year, however just not now. No, I don't want to have multiple sites, my items are one of a kind and with the way things happen, I would wind up selling the same Book of Shadows at the same time. This is not good customer service, something that I pride myself with.

Maybe he will leave this subject alone, maybe not. Either way I need to really think about what he has said. I have this feeling that this conversation is not over with or even close to being finished.

What makes it hard to argue the point with him, is that in lots of ways he is very right in his thinking. I do spend hours promoting and do the paid advertising on other sites. I just don't know the answer right now.

Merry Meet and Welcome To My Bonanzle Booth

Today is Friday, January 9, 2009. A beautiful sunrise this morning although a little chilly again this morning. The sparrows and squirrels have been enjoying the fresh seed. The doves are always happy to take what is thrown on the ground to them. I t would seem that the rose bush that I rescued from mom, is doing well. New growth and brilliant green just awesome.

Tomorrow is the wolf moon. Should be just beautiful if the weather doesn't change like it did last month. Last night was just breath taking, very clear and cold. Get those stones out there! Enjoy some quiet time, time to start making plans moving forward.

We tend to get lazy in our belief and practice until things start happening. This would be a wonderful time to work on protection for you and your family. I smudge my home every
new moon. Don't wait for things to happen before you start thinking when was the last time
I .......? I understand that life happens and sometime time is a real issue, however taking time
for the things that are important in our live has to become a priority.

Still no word from Sharon of SNL Design. I know that I have asked so much of her on this one that it might be a few days to make this happen. However, I know that she can do it. Merry Meet and Welcome To My Bonanzle Booth

Good Afternoon! Today is Thursday, January 8, 2009!
Oh what a chilly day it is here. Wind is blowing but the sun is shinning. Going to have to figure out how to fix this bird feeder so these crazy squirrels stop getting stuck in there.

Talk about customer service, I e-mailed Sharon of SNL Designs, yesterday about my avatar and she has already made and sent the new one with just my selling ID! This lady is just to kewl. As much as I hate to admit it, my son was right. She looks beautiful with just my selling ID.

This morning I woke up to find a new template that she has been working on for my Bonanzle Booth. She thought it was going to be to hard to work with. I did one listing with it, just to try it out and had no issues with using it. Sharon's instructions are really easy to follow, nothing is ever left out. So I am waiting ever so patiently to hear back from her. I am still so excited!

I am really excited about getting this to all come together. This isn't something that you can go into without any thought. Lots of time will go into just changing out your avatar not to mention redoing all of your listings. Getting your bussiness cards and return labels, e-mail business card all will take some time to get it together. It's like redecorating your house. Lots of work, but how exciting to do and then to see the final project finished.

My redirect link will go on all of my business cards and anything that the customer comes into comtact with. Why? Because I want my customer to find me quickly. If for some unknown reason somthing happens at Bonanzle, all I have to do is go in and change where I want my customer to land. This I had to learn the hard way.

Welcome To My Bonanzle Booth

Good Morning! Today is Wednesday, January 7,2009 rained here this early morning and is now a beautiful and cleansed day. I love to sit at my kitchen table and watch the critters. The little sparrows, there are so many off them that it looks like the ground is moving. Then come the doves, they bother no one and don't really seem to be bothered with anything going on around them. The squirrels love to play in the trees like they are kids on the monkey bars at the playground. Have had to rescue more than one from being stuck inside of the bird feeder.

The cardinals are another story. They come in pairs one male and one female. They don't seem to be very social critters, with each other or those around them. They will dive bomb each other and chase one another off.

Sharon at SNL Design has made my new avatar, let me tell you that you have no idea how many places you have an avatar until you are changing them. That is a project in it self to do. I think I am almost finshed changing them out, still know of two that I will do today.

I am still not used to this avatar. Yes she is nice, however I feel like I lost an old friend. Silly, I know. But that doesn't change anything.

I was looking at her last night when my son of 12 years asked me, why did you change your avatar? I asked him if he liked it and he said, well. Well's with this child is going somewhere, I know that I am either not going to like or have lots of explaining to do.

He said, "Mom, I don't like her." What? I was so shocked, my chin was on the floor and speechless, which is something that doesn't happen to me. Ok, let's be calm about this he is only 12 what does he know anyway.

I got another cup of coffee and sat down at the table where he was sitting. Calmly I asked why don't you like her? At this point I was unsure if I really wanted to know his answer. In this family, if you really don't want to know an honest answer, this is not the place to come.

His eyes looked up at me and said, "She is just to dang busy." What? You know mom, like just to much going on with her. Your other one wasn't as busy looking. I sometimes have a hard time communicating with this generation, the things that use to mean one thing now mean something else. Like the word "bad". It use to mean that if you were bad, your backside was in trouble, today if you are bad you are really kewl. still shaking head......

So I pulled up both avatars and had him explain. Well you know what he was right! She is "busy" looking compared to my other one. Busy translates to cluttered. My other avatar only said my selling ID Brightest Blessings and the new one has the whole name Brightest Blessings Wiccans.

So today I am going to contact Sharon and see if she can just use my selling ID. Out of the mouths of babes. LOL

Welcome To My Bonanzle Booth

Today is Tuesday, January 6, 2009. This year my Bonanzle booth Brightest Blessings Wiccans is going international and expanding. Bonanzle has taken the #5 spot this morning on the PSU listing board and almost 18000 users. So I am very excited for the coming year!

I went to Vista Print and ordered my business cards, plus a few other little goodies. They have a business card that you put right into your e-mail. Now this is something totally new to me, so I just had to order one of those too. Can't wait to get it installed.

Sharon, of SNL Designs, has done such wonderful work for me and is now working on getting the background color of my avatar to match my new Ooak banner that she made. This woman is awesome at what she does. Very professional job. She is an angel when it comes to making changes to your design. If you are looking to brand your business Sharon is the one to see. She is a real sweetheart!
