Moving Day

Today is Friday, April 30, 2010. It was another gorgeous day yesterday in SC. The sun was shinning and the shield was lifted, there was warmth from the sun.

Yesterday I was able to get all of the laundry finished and RV cleaned. Got the boys done with their school work and then started working on the outside. George stopped at the other RV place and said it looked good.

So today he gets off a one, should be home by 2:30 then we move on down the road closer to a town. Then to finish dinner, going to put a roast into the crock pot and finish when we get there. So glad that today is an early day and don't have to do this later when the sun is going down. This is going to be so much better for him driving to work.

Then on Sunday we are going to the flea market. The boys are excited, a real flea market, unlike the one at home. Would rally like to find some pots and get some seeds planted. No garden going at home so I have to plant something.

No young son is not going to be dropped off at the skate park by himself. I too am an overprotective mom and that isn't going to happen with or without a phone.

Wishing everyone a very Blessed Beltane tomorrow!

Remember yesterday, dream about tomorrow, but live today. ~Brightest Blessings~

  1. Dede, I do hope that your migraine has gone, and you weren't trying to get all of that done while you were still hurting!
I do hope that your move goes smoothly, and so glad to hear that you have a crockpot! They sure free us up, and it is almost like going out to dinner but tasting so much better! We get to relax and savor those luscious aromas along with everyone else. .oh, thank you very much. .I thought about this too much, and am now hungry for pot roast.
Good for you, sticking to your gut feelings about your son being alone at the skate park. Sometimes it is so hard to be a good parent, over being a "cool" one. But in this case, you've made the right call.
And I do hope that you find pots, planters. .and all sorts of other truly interesting things at the flea market! I do so love a good one.
Wishing you a beautiful, happy day, and that you are feeling much, much better!
    Hugs!!!

  2. Hi Dede! I am very happy you are moving closer to town, and going to a flea market. :) As for the skate park, I would be very nervous leaving my younger son at one, even if it was in my home town! Have a great weekend, and I hope you find a pot and some seeds. I love to watch things grow, too. xoxox pam
