Not Moving Along Fast Enough

Today is Thursday, April 8, 2010. It started out to be a beautiful day and then the clouds started rolling in. To think that this Oak tree was naked about a week ago and look at her now! She is going to be beautiful again this year and a wonderful shade tree.

Don't feel like to much got done today. Knowing that one week from tomorrow we need to be all but ready to leave. I guess that tonight it hit me hard that I have really got to kick it up a notch in order to make this happen. It's not like we can leave a couple of days later, he has to be back to work.

So needless to say I am really going to be busy for the next week. The boys seem to know when I need them to get their school work done, they seem to "need help" for the entire day. The past week we have been doing their work after dinner when it is starting to get dark and I can no longer work outside. I am so glad that tomorrow is Friday and I will have two full days to work in the RV.

Me and my bright self have decided to make new curtains too. My to do list is filling up instead of getting checked off. I sure hope that we get the rain that we are supposed to get tonight. There is so much pollen everything is a yellow/green color and the house inside is just as bad from having the windows open. To think I wonder why I can't breath......

I have to tell you something that happened, it was funny after the fact, however not at the time. I went to cut another board yesterday and the blade wasn't in right. I discovered this after the fact. So I grabbed another wood blade and young son said to me while I was changing it, "Show me how to do that, dad and I tried for the longest time and couldn't get it out." Now I know what happened to the blade and who did it. I have been the only one to use it and couldn't figure out what had happened. The older saws have a screw to loosen to remove the blade, the newer ones have a clip that you hold down while changing the blade.

Hoping to finish up all of the wall paper tomorrow and then to work the ceiling and steam clean the carpet and furniture. At least this is the plan, maybe I can teach the boys to use the saw and I can just yell out what I need. It's a thought.....

Remember yesterday, dream about tomorrow, but live today. ~Brightest Blessings~

  2. Have a great weekend Dede! I had some snow on my deck this morning. I wish you lived closer you could teach me some sewing tips. I'm not very good. I though sewing would be easy it's not. xo

  3. We're in full bloom here in the city, too. It's wonderful to walk under the trees or smell the flowers as I walk to and from work. A co-worker picked some pansy's for me yesterday. It has been years since I held a pansy. You have a wonderful weekend...and don't overdo. Take some time for you.

  4. I'm always amazed with how quickly everything greens up come Spring, it's like you go to bed and everythings brown when you wake up it's all green. I too love the nice weather but my alergys do not, I usually can't breath through my nose or smell again until Winter, blah. I do so hate that part. Your Oak Tree is beautiful!!

Okay, your right that is to funny to find the culprits using your saw! What were they thinking, lol.

Wish I was there to help you Dede, I would love to lend a couple of hands to help with your overload right now, deep breaths, it will be finished in time.

    Happy Weekend
