Today is Tuesday, April 13, 2010. It was a gorgeous day, bright sunshine with a breeze. This is the first bloom of the year. She is just to gorgeous.I have been so consumed with doing the RV that I haven't even noticed anything happening in the yard other than the fact that the grass needs to be mowed again. This gorgeous rose had bloomed completely and I hadn't even noticed her until this morning. Then the vine that George had planted last summer along the fence, just look at her!
I am so not happy to be so consumed with something that I don't notice the beauty that has been happening all around me. How can I not have noticed any of it? To be so "busy" not to notice something so wonderful. So tomorrow morning I will get to know my yard and all of the beauty of it with my coffee. I will not be so consumed not to notice again.Mama came over again today, that is two days in a row. I think she is going to miss her favorite child. She said don't be silly, go and have fun. But, you know, I do think she is really going to miss me. I tried to get her to go with us, but the answer was no. Maybe she will decide to come up after we are there. The place we are going to be staying also has these really cute little cabins. She would so love it, maybe not for three months, but for a few weeks. We shall see....
I was so in a bitchy mood yesterday. Mama said you know what is wrong with you don't you? If I did maybe I wouldn't be in the mood that I am in. It's being inside everyday all day, you need to be outside and you haven't been in almost two weeks. I think it is that I realize that we won't be here for most of the summer and I am really going to miss my pool, garden and flowers, the grandkids, the BBQ's all of it. Mama says, well you can't have it all. LOL I really love her words of wisdom.
Keeping my fingers and everything else that I can cross, that the RV will be done Friday. At least the things that I am responsible for. I refused to do the front brakes, not my job. So maybe this weekend after I get the house really cleaned, I will be able to spend time outdoors.
Remember yesterday, dream about tomorrow, but live today. ~Brightest Blessings~

ReplyDeleteDede your flowers are beautiful!!! Soon you will be able to kick back and enjoy all of the beauty around you, hang in there. I didn't realize you were going on the road for three months, wow, you really are going to have some awesome adventures. Good for you and the boys are going to love it too!! My husband itn'st allowed to work on front brakes back before we were even married he changed the brakes on a friends car and handed her some parts and said here these were extra, huhhhhhhh, ummmmm, no I don't think so, lol. I still can't forget my reation to that one. Nope no brake work for him.

Wow, Dede! That is a gorgeous rose. :) We all need to remember to grab a cup of coffee and walk around the garden. Today got away from me, and I swear, I don't think I was outside for more than 10 minutes. :) I am excited for your trip. Will you have internet? We will all miss you, if not! xo Pam
