So Glad It's Monday

Today is Monday, June 14, 2010. The weather has been so weird here this year. Very hot, 95 degrees and up with thunderstorms in the early evenings. Today's forecast, 98 degrees with a few thunderstorms tonight. This makes it very muggy not to mention buggy.

So much for my working weekend. Saturday started out really good, got things done and was moving right along. George got off early, he usually calls me on his way home, he said he wanted to surprise me. So my day ended earlier than I had expected it to. Okay I can live with that, until he tells me that he has tattoos to do on Sunday.

I can't complain about him doing tattoos, he makes good money doing them. But, who is the one to get everything ready, increase or decrease the size of the flash and clean up to set up for the next one? Yep, baby I need this or do you know where that is? So Sunday was a working day, just not working on what I needed to work on.

The pool is almost where it needs to be, have been fighting the TA level. Just about the time I think the levels are coming in to where they need to be, surprise they are wonky again. At this point, I think it would have been better to have drained it and started again. Live and learn....

If you haven't had the chance to check out the Wool Wednesday Gathering Challenge , jump on over to see what Brenda has come up with. This is going to be so much fun and truly a challenge for me. I have never worked with wool before, but there's a first time for everything. Brenda is so much fun and all that she asks of you, to send her pictures of what you have created. I think there are three spots left so hurry.

I would like to thank Not Hannah at Divining Women for the most amazing energy Saturday night. She had an idea and ran with it, it turned out to be huge. Maybe we could do this again next month.

Remember yesterday, dream about tomorrow, but live today.~Brightest Blessings~

  1. Oh, my, I think I lost my comment. Well, just in case...I just wanted to say that that is awful hot. I can't deal with that heat...and the humidity? Yikes!!!! Here we are humid with rain on the way, but it hasn't quite hit 70. Big difference.

  2. Humidity just saps everything out of you. It was really muggy here yesterday, too. I hope it dries up a little, and you get some time to make things! Have a fabulous week - xox! Pam

  4. I'm sorry you didn't get more down time this weekend, what with the pool, and being the tattoo mistress!

Saturday was a great day for energy though - and I'd totally do it again next month too. Just praying for something to happen to plug that damned leak!

  5. Ewwwww muggy, buggy, 98 degrees, ackkkkk, none of those are my favorites. Although, I do love thunderstorms, you can send them my way!! We have had a lot of hot humid weather here too since the end of May, that is not a good sign here in NY at all. I may be living in my basement if this keeps up.

George does tatoos, cool!! I want one, can I make my appointment, lol. Sorry, since it means you have to work harder (tatoo mistress, lol, I like that one) probably not what you wanted to hear huh.

Thank you for mentioning our Wool Wednesday Challenge, this one is going to be lots of fun!! Thanks sweetie!!

    Have a great week Dede!!
