My Wool Challenge Is Finished

Today is Thursday, July 1, 2010. We are still having thunderstorms and they are calling for them through out the weekend. Okay, I have never been one to look forward to the fall, I usually really enjoy the summer and time outdoors, but with the heat of 90 plus, the humidity and not being able to get outdoors, I am ready for Fall.

I finished my little bag yesterday! This was so much fun, something that I had never done before. It can be used to carry business cards, stones or whatever. I made a little clay button with a stone to match, used a purple ribbon to sew up the sides. George was impressed, how did you do that, not telling you. LOL Thank you so much Brenda, I would have never done this on my own. Now I want to make MORE things, bigger bags, scarves, the possibilities are endless! I see myself having a room full of different colored wool, oh so much fun!

So have to get going, George was home way early yesterday, so things that I had planned on getting finished up, well didn't even get touched. He truly believes I am his playmate. He decided to sell the plane. Go ahead, it only sits in the yard. So needless to say, I was the one to take pictures and set up the listings. I have my own listings to do and pictures to take. And to think this is going to be a long weekend.

Remember yesterday, dream about tomorrow, but live today. ~Brightest Blessings~

  3. Dede, the bags are great. Yeah I think you should do more. And you have a plane in your yard? A big one? I finally got to turn off my air conditioner, so maybe cooler breezes on the way.

  4. Oh I'm loving your little bag! How cool is that! It's been cool here but this weekend we'll be in the 90's too! A plane in the yard is that a big one or a small one. Do you live near the Travolta's lol! :)

  6. Those bags are lovely. You're not alone in wishing for fall. We're have a bit of a fall 'teaser' here in the city. It's finally cooled off, and when I hung my clothes, was surprised to find fall-like temperatures. The clothes are going to smell so nice....but next week we are going up to the high 90's. Yikes!!! No fun in the city.

  8. Dede! I love your little bag! I didn't even take the challenge, because I knew I would have wool staring at me, forever - lol! Good luck with the plane, and I hope it cools off for you. We have had such hot weather (and Florida was steamy!), and today it is in the 70s. Weird weather!!! xox! Pam
