A Terrific Weekend Coming!

Today is Friday, April 6, 2012.  The moon is just gorgeous this morning so full and bright.  The clouds are moving at a pretty good clip so I am hoping that it is going to be another gorgeous day.  It has been so Spring here! We have had some much needed rain, still need lots more to get the water tables up where they need to be,  but it is a start.  This little guy was on the rail yesterday when I went out to hang the laundry, needless to say he could have cared less that I was there or taking his picture.  He hung out there most of the day, I guess he really liked it.

With all of the baking I was doing the girls just couldn't keep up with eggs so I had to buy a flat, yes buy.  When I was combining them I noticed the size of their "large" eggs and the girls.  If these are large eggs by girls are laying jumbos.  With the summer fast approaching I have decided it was time to quit making bread until next winter again.  Time to make cool desserts to enjoy during the summer heat.

George and I went got a mocha then off to the local flea market last weekend.  We got a few fresh veggies and then off to lunch.  We haven't done this in well over a year and it felt good to be doing again.  So this weekend, tomorrow we are going to go to Jacksonville flea market, it is huge!  But the fresh veggies are really nice there and the prices are terrific.  So we will load up and enjoy them. I am so very glad that George is working in town again.  Even young son has started eating more veggies and trying new ones that he "doesn't like" only to find out that hey those are pretty good. 

Since we are going to be going to Jacksonville in the morning and we have two grand babies there, I am going to make them some Easter basket cup cakes to take to them.  They are so cute, love them to death.  Those two are so much fun, they are truly toddlers that like to be outside getting dirty.  My kind of kids.

I have also started writing cards and letters again.  Not sure why I quit doing this, but it is time to get going again.  Everyone loves to get letters and cards in the mail, e-mail is great don't get me wrong, but so is the hand written letter or card.

Monday is doctor day to see if I will get a voice or not.  Have no idea what to expect so a little nervous about it.  I really dislike having them mess with my stoma.  When I do it I can control the cough, but when they do it I have no control over it and the coughing seems to last forever. Maybe he will be able to do something about my ear too.  To not have fluid in it would be delightful!  I will keep you posted as to what happens there.

Need to get going want to have all of my chores done before George gets home and cup cakes made for tomorrow.  Wishing everyone a family fun filled weekend, enjoy each other!
