Waiting.......

Today is Monday, November 16, 2009. The weather has been so nice. No rain and not really cold. No heater or air conditioner to run. House has been open and smells so good!

I have to tell you that I was just a tad upset that hubby spent four hours looking at rentals and found nothing on Saturday. However, I was so Blessed to have e-mail Sharon which lives really close to where we will be moving to get information on where to look and where not to look.

So after receiving her e-mail I hit the internet on Sunday. Hubby called and said that he had been looking and had no luck, but had one to look at after work on Monday that sounded really
promising. I found one that was for sale at a really good price and in a good location. I was so thrilled. So he e-mailed them and will call them at his break. I won't know anything of course until his lunch break.

As soon as I know something I will let all of you know. If we buy, it means that we won't be moving over Thanksgiving or at least I don't think that the banks move that fast, but you never know. We just have to wait and see what happens.

I do think it is all of this unknown that is really getting to me. The kids are fixing to need more school books, do I have them sent here or wait until after the move and have them sent there. Do we plan a Thanksgiving dinner or not. sigh.....

All Night Movie Night

Today is Monday, October 5, 2009. It has been rainy and humid all day today. I so was hoping that the fall weather was here. Of course the rain came after I had watered everything. The weather man was right this time.

The boys and I stayed up all night last night watching movies and just hanging out together. We watched Race To Witch Mountain and Practical Magick. Both great movies! I think that this thing with dad being gone is getting to them, both of them at this point.

Son #5 came in last night while I was in the kitchen, put his arms around me. Of course I put my arms around him to, but this was not a "I love you mom, I need some gas money, please." I didn't say anything, I didn't have to. I could tell by the way he was breathing and the quiver in his voice, "This just isn't fair dad not being here." I know son, sometimes we have to go through times which are unpleasant in order for us to really appreciate the pleasant times. "How long is he going to have to do this?" I don't know son, I just don't know.

I did get an awesome e-mail from Becca tonight! One of my owl drawstring bags was featured on Etsy! This just blew me away! Thank you Becca! Whooo Hoots! Check it out!

My special girls package is all but packaged up, will go out in the mail on Wednesday with the other ones.

A New Day...

Today is Monday, September 21, 2009. The sun is shining and a squirrel is in the bird feeder. I haven't seen the little injured one in two days. The Cardinals have been here and since left this morning. It is a new day....

Hubby left last night, the two boys went to their sister's house to spend the night. Sister's hubby has a four wheeler that he just finished getting "ready", for what I am unsure. The one thing that I am sure of, the clothes that they bring home will be full of mud.

When it came time for hubby to leave, I had told myself no tears, he doesn't want to go and he feels bad enough about having to contract. No need to make him feel any worse with a seven hour drive ahead of him, not to mention the weather was terrible, he was heading right into it. He needed to be focused on driving and not home.

I was good, no tears, he closed the front door. Breathe..... When I heard the truck start, well all was not good any longer. I watched him through the bedroom window, drive out the gates and then close them. I watched the tail lights until they were out of my sight. Thirty days...... and then to get two days to do it again.

As I sat alone in a very quiet house, I asked myself, will this get easier next time? Then I asked myself do you really want it to be easier? If it got easier, wouldn't that mean that I was losing something that I really loved and cared about? No, I don't want to lose those feelings, no matter how hard they seem to be right this minute.

This is the tote that was inspired by my daughter, with one large pocket inside for her keys and cell phone, "So they don't go to the bottom, I can just reach into the pocket." OK. Hers is finished and I made another one in the Halloween theme with a handmade clay pumpkin button. I will get it listed today in my Etsy shop.

Productive Monday? We Shall See

Today is Monday, August 10, 2009. It is going to be another gorgeous day! Have to get somethings finished up before I can go out and enjoy it. And of course my chores. LOL

It was a wonderful weekend and the weather was wonderful all day, evening thunderstorms rolled after dark. Which was OK by me, great sleeping weather and didn't have to water the plants.

I did work on my site last night. Sharon came through for me! Thank You Sharon! So now I have a links page with clickable links! This was a real challenge for me. Wouldn't you know it was the only little box that I didn't try to use, only because when I did, everything was in html code, well dah! Was so excited when I finally got it the way that I wanted it. I love sharing links with friends.

Would like to finish the two altar cloths that I have started and finish up moms quilt today. At least this is my plan this morning. Have to also get two more rows of my sons quilt done also. Instead of trying to get everything done at once, I have decided to do them in so many rows a day. This is a big project and will take about another 10 days to finish putting together. Then to clip, ooohhh. It will be well worth it to see his face when it is finally finished.

It's Monday

Today is Monday, June 29, 2009. It started out to be a beautiful day, went and watered the plants and hung out the laundry. Things were moving along very nice. Then came the wind and clouds. Here came the rain...... I guess we need take the lead of the critters and not worry so much about getting things done and just relax. That load of laundry would have waited until tomorrow and well mother earth takes very good care of our earth.

Still cutting out the squares for my sons blanket. Had company yesterday so that day not to much go done. It was a very relaxing and enjoyable. Cooked out and played in the pool. After the pool we planted the six golden chain trees that I started from seeds, they are about 18 inches tall now and ready to go into the ground.

Found A Great Gem Stone Bonanzle Booth

Blue Obsidian

Today is Tuesday, May 19, 2009. It has rained the last couple of days here, but that's ok, we really need this rain. The temperature has dropped too. Feels like November weather. A nice welcome from those 90 plus days.

Was browsing on Bonanzle the other day and ran across this Booth called Gem Rock Shop. All I can say is WOW! So of course I had to have a couple of items, received them yesterday and truly wished I had ordered more. The picture of the Blue Obisdian is one of the items that I purchased. The other is a quartz point pendant. Unlike most that are on black cords this seller, Tammy, has several colors and they are beautiful. Check this out!
Qzpnd_043a_thumb200 Just love the teal cord! So much better than the black ones!

Brightest Blessings Bonanzle Booth

Good morning! Today is Monday, January 19, 2009 and very foggy this morning. Not complaining, it is a little warmer today. The squirrels are binging off of the trees scattering the birds. One lone sparrow is sitting in the feeder. That little rose bush that was all but dead is thriving, even has new growth, which i half the size of the rose bush itself.

I did get my corn dollies made and will get a few of them listed today in my Bonanzle booth. I love to make these and can't wait for my grand children to get just a little bigger to teach them. My one grandson of five loves to spend the night. I get to keep him over spring break and am very excited about that.

He loves to keep busy, so I found these really neat wooden kits on Bonanzle to make. We are going to make two bird houses, two planters and a napkin holder. We also plan on getting the flowers planted and a vegetable garden in. So now I am looking for the good sets of rakes and hoes for the little gardener.

Colors for this week are:
Monday - White
Tuesday - Black
Wednesday - Topaz
Thursday - Crimson
Friday - Rose
Saturday - Blue
Sunday - Amber

If you have a chance to stop by my Bonanzle booth please do!

Brightest Blessings!
