Would Rather Shop At Bonanzle

Today is Sunday, April 5, 2009. The rain stopped and it was a beautiful day Friday. Living in a very small community, the shopping is very limited. Every once in a while I decide to drive the 50 miles each way to go shopping. This weekend hubby and I went "shopping" for fabric.

I knew in my mind what I wanted and just knew that if we got out of town to a city, I would find what I needed. You know when you know what you are looking for, you know what you want. Well, I was so disappointed. Wall after wall of fabric and nothing of the three fabrics did I find. Hundreds of fabrics in these three stores and no angels, no dragons and nothing for my special tote.

However, we did have a good time just the two of us, that never happens. We just made a day of it. After returning home, I went on the hunt for my fabric on Bonanzle. I should have known to chat with this one seller, which is one of my favorites. She has NEVER let me down.

Brenda's Fabric Goodies is such a super person and really works to make a deal happen! With the Bonanzle chat box I talked with her and got what I wanted. This is not the first time that I asked her for something and she said sure no problem!

I really want my tote for the charity auction to be so extra special. This is one of the fabrics that I ordered from her. This IS the fabric that I wanted.

The "Lady Bug" extra small tote is sold. So I really need to get busy. Have the grandbaby this weekend, we have been building bird houses and a napkin holder. Today we paint them. He wants to dye eggs. I so do hope not to have the dye spilled this year.

I listed over a hundred new items in my Bonanzle booth, BrightestBlessings, this week also. All of the jewelry and body jewelry that has been sitting in the spare room. I played the "LIMBO" game this week at Bonanzle and will play again next week. Come on over next Wednesday and play. The game runs from Wednesday to Saturday at 8 est. A New Item For My Bonanzle Booth

Today is Wednesday, April 1, 2009. This is a picture of a Blue Jay and a Cardinal. The Blue Jay has only been here the last two days. It started pouring last night about 8 and hasn't stopped yet. The thunderstorms have finished for now. Made it through most of it with electric and internet connection.

I did get another project finished up and really thrilled with this one. I made it without a pattern, so it was a little more challenging. It also has a different style strap. It just says spring.

The "Lady Bug" is only about 7 inches wide, about 5 inches tall and about 2 1/2 inches deep. The strap has about a 14 inch drop. There are three small pockets on the inside which are just big enough for a cell phone, lipstick, or a package of gum. The button cover is a clay Lady Bug to match. The colors of pink, purple and green with the purple and pink Lady Bugs on yellow just scream spring. I also made a matching key holder to match. I will get this listed sometime today in my Bonanzle booth Brightest Blessings.

Seeing how the weather is very wet here and supposed to be until Friday, I am forced to stay inside. So I will move in a forward direction to finish getting the spare room cleaned out for my office/project room. This will be so nice to have finished, I would still rather be out playing in the dirt.

Bonanzle Booth Reuse It

Today is Wednesday, March 18, 2009. The sun is shinning and the breeze is blowing. I truly hope all summer is like this. No air conditioner yesterday and it looks like another one today. Have used the grill most of the week for cooking and the clothes line for drying. What I save in the electric bill this month, I can spend at some of my favorite Bonanzle booths! hehehe

Today is Friday, March 13, 2009. A cloudy and overcast day, but it is warm. Got the little plants into the ground and will now watch them grow. I took a me day yesterday and did not do any work at all. Or at least what I call work. Spent the day working on my BOS outside in the sunshine and loved every minute of it. Worked in the yard and even took a nap.

No Down Time For Bonanzle, Just Me

Today is Sunday, February 15, 2009. The sun is just starting to rise over the cloudy sky. I have missed almost of week of life, have had the flu and a nasty one at that. Still not over it, however feeling much better this morning than I have since last Monday. From what I can see the feeder is in desperate need of food.

I did manage to get my first sewing project ever completed. I found this to be very relaxing and enjoyable. Unlike most projects, you can put this one down and come back to where you left off without having to read and reread the directions to figure out where you were at. The only problem I had was trying to figure out the button to use. So, off to find a piece of clay to make my own. Very happy with the results.

Now I do believe that a lot of this pleasure was due to the easy instructions/pattern that I had purchased from Rag Quilt Creations . She has taken time to explain and the pictures are just awesome. Not to mention that she is more than willing to help you along the way if need be. She also has a blog, Rag Quilt Creations that she has started listing tips and tricks.

Now while I was laid out on the couch, Bonanzle has switched over to the new server. So, now that this is done, I need to get my new templates up and running to match everything in my Bonanzle booth.

Plans for today are to start redoing my listings in my Bonanzle booth Brightest Blessings. So if you are out, stop in and say hi. Would love your feedback.

A Little Bonanzle Break

Today is Tuesday, February 10, 2009 and a beautiful day it is! The sun is shinning and a very slight breeze. The sparrows are just loving it.

Bonanzle has been running a little slow this week, so gave up on redoing my listing with my new templates that Sharon from SNL Designs has designed and worked so hard on. Bonanzle is getting yet another server update sometime this week. So after that happens I will try it again. Just gives me a chance to get some things finished up at the house. A little break.

Have one clay BOS almost ready and excited about it. Still working on my sewing, have had some major interruptions this week here at home. Might have a son moving back home, this economy has got to get moving.

So with that said, I know have to clean out the "spare" room. What a real job this has turned out to be. Nothing in that room can go into the shed, climate control. Have tons of tattoo stuff and all of the body piercing stuff that has to stay clean. The autoclave machine, the hot iron press, the tattoo guns all have to go into totes and stored somewhere else in the house.

Last night was just a beautiful night just an awesome Snow Moon. It was a little chilly, however it was a very clear night, some very good energy.

My Bonanzle Experience

Good Morning! Today is February 5, 2009 and a very cold morning it is about 18 degrees. The sun is not up yet, got an early start on the day. All is quiet.....

I received my patterns from Rag Quilt Creations and I do believe that I will be able to make these very cute handbags. Before buying I e-mailed her to ask if these would be a beginners project. When I say beginner, I mean staring from scratch, know nothing beginner. She e-mailed be right back saying that it would be a good beginner project.

The instructions are very clear and the pictures are awesome. Had a couple of questions, however after reading the instructions all of the way through a couple of times, I got it figured out. Something to be said about reading the directions first.

I had found the fabric that I really wanted to use. It is just beautiful and in purple! Only to realize that I needed 5 inch squares and not 4 inch. So at the advice of Rag Quilt Creations, I sent and e-mail to Brenda's Fabric Goodies inquiring if these also came in 5 inch squares.

Well to my surprise the seller came on line and answered my e-mail right away with a sure! I was shocked at the fast response and the willingness of this seller to help me with this project. Within a few hours, she had them shipped out to me. This in my book is terrific customer service. She has got my business. So wish me luck, I will be starting this project Saturday.

This is the handbag and this is the fabric.
Just beautiful colors together. So I figure I can use the purple and floral for the outside and the other two lilac patterns for the inside. Truly excited about this new learning experience! Looking forward to it.

Well I have one clay Book of Shadows almost finished that should be finished up on Saturday. Still haven't had time to get my listings changed over to the new templates from Sharon at SNL Designs. Am going to try to have them finished up by the end of the weekend.

Brightest Blessings Bonanzle Booth Is Getting A New Look

Good Morning! Today is February 1, 2009 and a beautiful day it is. The sun is shinning and the birds are singing. The squirrels are tearing up the feeder again this morning. Yesterday was a disaster as far as getting anything done. House full of kids, spouses, and grandkids. They arrived about 9:30 and left about 8:30 last night. Threw together a dinner of burgers and fries and the clutter of them all being here is unbearable. So needless to say my clay Book of Shadows are not finished.

Now don't get me wrong, I love spending time with them, but when you put that many people into a house it gets really small and the noise level soars. I am having issues with my voice and most of the time it doesn't get above a whisper. This seems to come and go, it is very annoying to say the least. They are all trying to do their taxes and I am trying to explain to each one of them, at the same time, what they need to do. Going ot have to get a whistle.

However I did get some great news last night when I logged into Bonanzle last night, when all was quiet again. Sharon from SNL Designs had my templates done! She was the high light of my day. I am so excited to get them. Now comes the work of changing all of my 100 plus listing over to the new templates. My Bonanzle booth is going to look like mine again!

Kitchen Witches

Good Morning! Today is Friday, January 30, 2009 a sunny day with a breeze. Needless to say, it is rather chilly this morning. Supposed to get down to 26 degrees tonight. I truly hope the the weather man is wrong this time.

Started working on the clay Book of Shadows yesterday they are coming along nicely. I enjoy making these. Everyone of them is different and unique. I can add whatever I want to add to them, like stones or pouches.

Brightest Blessings Aura Picture An "Old Soul"

Good Morning! Today is January 28, 2009 and a sunny at times morning. Not complaining at all. It is supposed to get back in the twenties this weekend. Maybe the weather man will be wrong about this, it wouldn't be the first time. Let's hope so.

The squirrels are loving the sunshine. Playing on the limbs like little monkeys. The sparrows and cardinals are in the feeder and the doves are waddling around pecking on the ground. They just don't care, very funny to watch them.

This is my aura picture taken by Ms Kay. Tried to scan it, however the scanner is not wanting to work with me this morning. So I did the next best thing and took a picture of it. Still not the colors that are in the picture, but this is all I could figure out to do.

Anyway, this is the old soul aura. Here is what Ms Kay has to say:
The very unique configuration of colors in this aura are indicative of a "very old soul". This is someone who has completed all their karma and will move on to a higher plane the next time around. They are always surrounded by angels. These souls are in transition and are here to help others in transition.

I was at first stunned and then this calming came over me. It was almost like a relief to know. I was talking to Patti, the shop owner, and she told me that she had also gotten her "old soul" aura picture too.

You know, death is hard on the living, not the dying. The ones that are left here are the ones that hurt and won't let go. The dying are the ones that know they will not suffer any longer, either physical or emotional.

Am I afraid of death? No, I worry more about my husband, kids and grandkids that will not continue to grow and live their lives. My husband is still not comfortable talking about death, however it is something that is going to happen to all of us.

When I move on to the next realm, I want the family to spend time in the kitchen together, making the biggest Mexican feast they have ever been to. Lay out that spread of food, sit together at the table talk with one another and have fun.

I remember a poem, don't remember who wrote it but it says, "Remember yesterday, Dream about tomorrow, But live today!"

Today I am going to make a couple of my clay Book of Shadows. I haven't made any of them in a while and think it is about time. They are very time consuming, but well worth the time. I love mine, use it for my journal. These are a clay cover with a wooden back. Then of course I have an herb pouch on it with stones, not to mention it is purple.

I hope to have them finished sometime this weekend and listed in my Bonanzle booth, Brightest Blessings Wiccans . Sharon of SNL Designs, contacted me yesterday about my templates and I am so excited. She does such wonderful work, and very easy to work with. That girl has so kind of talent! Boy is that going to be a chore to change all of my listings to templates, however more than worth it, the results will be just super.

Brightest Blessings Day With Grandson

Good Morning! Today is Sunday, January 25, 2009. The sun is peaking through the clouds this morning and it is supposed to get to the 70's today. Have to find out what kind of birds have joined in our little sanctuary this past week. There are two different ones that I have never seen nor my husband.

We went to get our aura pictures taken yesterday. Ms Kay has been doing our families aura pictures for the last few years. She is great will send out e-mails when she is coming to town. Still waiting for a group discount. This is the grandson's aura. An indigo child. These children are so misunderstood. Most of the time they wind up on drugs for Add or ADH. Treat them like an adult, challenge their thinking. Keep them active, no video games are not active.

We then got home in time to watch the live auction, done at Auction Wally's Bonanzle booth. We went to log in about five minutes till one and dang it man, no internet. There are not enough bad things I can say about Comcast. Their service is out more than on. On and off all day there is always an excuse for their poor service.

Anyway about one-thirty we finally got logged in and it was a thrill for him. He wants to "talk wike dat", he thought that was so neat. He kept saying how does he talk like that. This was his first auction, so that was pretty cool.

From the auction we went to rake the yard and burn the leaves. Needless to say that after the yard work he was ready for dinner. Then to make chocolate chip cookies, bath and he passed out.

Brightest Blessings Wiccans Bonanzle Booth

Good Morning! Today is Sunday, January 11, 2009, cool with over cast day. Lots of clouds in the sky this morning. All is quiet this Sunday morning. The squirrels, sparrows, doves and cardinals have all come to eat and are gone.

Have been doing lots of thinking about my business for 2009, maybe to much. Hubby usually doesn't say to much as far as my business goes other than, sounds good, way to go, sure that would be great, well last night he asked me, why are you promoting Bonanzle instead of your business? Well......to draw buyers to the site. It's a great community with lots of potential.

His next question was, why don't you just go set up your own site? You are spending hours promoting anyway, why not just promote your own site? I had no answer for him.

The conversation was not over, you know that most of your customers are coming from search engines and the paid advertising that you do on pagan sites, you really need to think about setting up your own site. You found out that there was life after e-bay. So what is the big deal?

This is something that I had thought about doing at the end of this new year, however just not now. No, I don't want to have multiple sites, my items are one of a kind and with the way things happen, I would wind up selling the same Book of Shadows at the same time. This is not good customer service, something that I pride myself with.

Maybe he will leave this subject alone, maybe not. Either way I need to really think about what he has said. I have this feeling that this conversation is not over with or even close to being finished.

What makes it hard to argue the point with him, is that in lots of ways he is very right in his thinking. I do spend hours promoting and do the paid advertising on other sites. I just don't know the answer right now.

My Bonanzle Booth Plans For 2009

I have some plans for my Bonanzle Booth in the year 2009. Taken into account of all of the horror stories of International shipping I have stayed away from it. I have shipped to Canada and had no problems at all.

So this coming year I am taking my Bonanzle booth international. If buyers don't mind the wait of receiving their order, it shouldn't bother me. I like to ship out within 24 hours of an order so an order will to my customer quickly. Like transactions to be complete within a week from start to finish.

The Post Office and I will be spending some time together learning all of the things that goes along with the international shipping. What is allowed to be shipped and not to mention the different and most cost effective methods.

The next step is to add more items for you BOS. Divider pages, and different information pages like the use of candles and herbs.

Bonanzle Is A Blessing!

The Yule Logs are made and the candy is finished. The tree is up and decorated, all but a few gifts are wrapped. This morning was a productive morning for me. As I put the finishing touches on my Yule Logs I thought about just how blessed my family and I truly are.

We are not rich in the sense of money, however we are rich. We are all healthy, we don't live in a million dollar home, we do have a nice home. We have seven children and the tenth grandbaby is on the way, all healthy. We live in a small town and see each other almost everyday.

We don't have big gifts for Yule, we are together and enjoy the unity of our family. We enjoy the memories that we are making and sharing the laughter of the children, now the grandchildren. The firsts are all lived again, the first words, steps and foods.

My new Bonanzle family like so many folks in this economy are having hard times just making it from month to month. This economy has been tough on everyone, not just a few.

We have "wish list" that we can add items to that we would like to have or to purchase later. So many folks in the Bonanzle family have been playing "Secret Santa" for the last few weeks and like I told you, I also had a "Secret Santa". I felt like a kid on Yule opening that box!

So this morning I went looking at wish lists. I found a couple of folks that I thought just might need a little cheer and a little more faith. I arranged with the sellers that I wanted this to remain a secret and they had no problems with it. So with any kind of luck there will be a couple of more folks that will feel that wonderful feeling of being a kid again opening that unknown gift.

I have been so blessed with my Bonanzle Booth, no listing fees, no booth fees and the final value fees are nothing to worry about. I am able to take the kinds of payments that my customers would like to make. Not the payment methods that are dictated to them. I am able to sell my items at a price that everyone can afford and not have to continue to raise the prices to cover the fees. We can even e-mail each other without coding our e-mail address, so that it doesn't get returned with a note saying that we can't include our address.

We can even chat with each other without worring about big brother watching every thing we say. Bonanzle is freedom, true freedom. Bonanzle has blessed me with the freedom to run my business the way that I see fit to run it.

Busy Weekend At Bonanzle And Home

This weekend was a very productive weekend at home and Bonanzle! I was able to get 90% of my listings redone and cleaned up to my liking. Well at least until Sharon at SNL Designs
Bonanzle Booth, gets the templates worked out for me. I know she is working on them this weekend so lets keep our fingers crossed that she succeeds this week in making Bonanzle templates!

At the home front the candy is all but finished. Have a couple of more batches to finish up and should be able to get those done today. That is if I don't wind up with a house full of people again today. My kitchen just isn't big enough to have people huddled around while trying to cook. Not to mention the "wanting to sample" while it is being made. Just can't seem to make to much progress that way.

Bonanzle Is Family

Bonanzle is such a breath of fresh air! I really do mean that. It is so different than any on line venue. The people at Bonanzle are more like a family. Bonanzle has had several "Secret Santas" strike. A few weeks back Bonanzle gave us a wish list and a save it for later list. The wish list is a public list of items, that you would like to have.

There have been loads of people receiving gifts from different people they don't know face to face, however they know from on line at Bonanzle. I received a secret santa and was just wowed by it! When I opened the box the items that had been on my wish list were in it. They are items that I would like to have, but at this time of year, I had other things that had to come first.

Well let me tell you that my heart just soared when I opened it and seen what was in that little box! Here I will show you!
