Today is Monday, March 16, 2009. Today is warm and humid. Supposed to get rain this afternoon and evening, which will be very welcomed. The pollen is terrible and the rain will help to settle it down. One lone squirrel at the feeder and the sun is just starting to come up. The birds are close, I can hear them singing. My little Japanese Magnolia Tree is finally getting leaves to go with her blooms.
I finally finished up my project for a friend. She knows nothing of it, so it will be a surprise when it arrives in the mail. This rag quilting is so much fun. The possibilities are endless.
My friend loves dragons, so I found some dragon fabric and starting cutting them out. I needed a special button for this with a dragon. So I started my hunt with Bettye at SomethingPretty
Bonanzle booth. Bettye has some real talent and very easy to work with.
I contacted her to see if she would be willing to make that perfect button cover and she was so quick. In a very short amount of time I had several drawings from her. I was in awe at her work and chose the one I wanted. She listed my special button cover in her Bonanzle Booth SomethingPretty, I paid and in a very short amount of time, I had it in my hands. Bettye will get all of my orders for those special buttons. Thank you Bettye, you made it just to easy!
