Clay Day

Today is Tuesday, November 17, 2009. Another beautiful day! The weather has been just great, warm with a breeze, oh, if the summers could have a breeze.

I dug out my clay today and played with it for a couple of hours. I haven't done this since the last Book of Shadows I made. I really enjoy working with it and don't know why I don't do more of it. I also did get some squares cut for a couple of more rag quilt projects that have just been hanging around, not getting done. So maybe tomorrow I will get them finished up.

Young son woke me up at three this morning scared to death. Someone is trying to get in the sliding glass door Mom. What? OK, so I get up go look and see nothing. I can tell he is really shaken up, so I go to sleep on the couch and he takes the love seat.

So this morning while son #5 and I are building a gate, I am telling him about it asking if he heard anything last night. No mom didn't hear anything. No I guess you wouldn't, he snores just as loud as his dad does.

He went around the side of the house to check it out. There were some kind of paw prints on the glass with hair. Whatever it was, had to be a good size, the prints were over half way up the glass. This made young son feel better, but wants to camp out in the living room tonight.

The couch is so not my water bed. I don't know how they sleep on them when they fall asleep at night watching television. My whole body aches the next day. Oh to be young again and be able to sleep on the floor or couch and sleep well.

Hubby still hasn't found a house and we are getting down to the wire. I sent him the e-mail from Home Depot with a list of the up coming classes for the DIY. Maybe that will light a fire. All though, it may just back fire on me and I might just get a little tiny house, just to say he found one.

Remember yesterday, dream about tomorrow, but live today. ~Brightest Blessings~

That had to be a big scare for your son, and for you! I'm not sure that I could even feel safe enough on the sofa to get any more sleep! You are VERY brave! :-)
