A Couple of Things Finished

Today is Wednesday, December 16, 2009. The weather has gotten down into the sixties today and supposed to be in the fifties tonight. Tomorrow the weatherman is calling for rain. So tomorrow before the rain, the wood needs to be brought into the house so that we can have a fire, without using wet wood.

I did get the little rag quilt sewn today and tonight I will get it clipped. Tomorrow I will start the other one. With any kind of luck, I will be finished Friday. Was on a roll until we had company and the little fellow was here so I couldn't work on his gift. They stayed until almost midnight last night. So that ended the sewing, just didn't have it in me to continue after they had gone home. It was good to see them, those three grandkids have more energy at the end of the day than I do at the beginning of the day.

I was also able to get my Yule Log made, talk about waiting until the last minute. But it is done and ready for Yule.
Had a scare with the mailbox key today. Young son had checked the mail on Monday, son #5 said he would run and check the mail today. When he went to get the key, it wasn't there. Yes we have two keys, one here and the other one hubby has on his keyring. After searching for a couple of hours young son found the key. Oh happy day! Keys and I just don't go together, I have a total of three keys in my possession, car key, house key and a key to mom's house. All other keys are on their own rings on hooks.

So tonight I will watch television and clip, clip, clip. This is my favorite part, it is almost finished and I will be able to finally see it. Then I think I will make a batch of mints, they don't take that long and everyone loves them. This was one of the first questions I got last night, "Grandma where are the mints, the tree is up?". Love them babies!

Don't forget today is a New Moon, write those abundance checks and smudge.

Remember yesterday, dream about tomorrow, but live today. ~Brightest Blessings~
