The Week Is Almost Over

Today is Thursday, February 18, 2010. It is so pretty outside and so cold. It's a whooping 35 degrees right now. I do believe that if the wind would stop for a little while, things might just warm up a bit.

I don't know where this week has went to, but it is almost over. With the sun shinning I was able to get pictures yesterday. So tomorrow night I will list the wall hanging and the pillow. George called Monday, he has a stomach virus. Sorry to hear that but glad you are there and not here with it. He wasn't having any luck with getting the part for his truck so I went on line found it and it has been ordered.

He said that he checked at the dealers and the part was over $400! He said he would buy a new truck first. LOL When I asked him about checking on line, he said no, not yet. Well why not? He knows that I buy everything on line except for groceries and gas. The part will be here Monday it was new, for $63 and comes with a warranty. So he will have it Wednesday, they wouldn't ship to him.

Another year of school books will be here this morning all 44 pounds of them. So needless to say today will be busy with paperwork to get things in order to start in the morning again. Back to routine again after a month. They miss the routine as much as I do. It's one thing to have the weekend off, but to have a month, it wasn't as much "fun" as they thought it was going to be. It was a nice break, but they are looking forward to getting started again.

So today will be busy with books and cleaning up the house getting things back where they need to be and of course laundry. George won't be home until the first weekend of March so no extra cooking or shopping this weekend.

Remember yesterday, dream about tomorrow, but live today. ~Brightest Blessings~

  1. I don't know where February went. Time is passing so quickly. Oh, gosh, those college textbooks. I know how heavy they are. I still have tons of them that I am donating to libraries and such. Have fun today.

  4. Dede, I love the new Wall Hanging, it is awesome!!! I agree where do the days go, sigh. Sorry to hear about your husband, I hope he is feeling better super fast. Bummer you won't be seeing him until the beginning of March, but he'll be home in time for my birthday, lol. I love the month of March except for when Easter falls in there to then it takes me a little over the edge as my birthday, my husband's birthday, my mother's birthday was also in March, my aunt's birthday is the day after mine and our wedding anniversary is in March, lol. Didn't want hubby to be able to forget our wedding anniversary and he never has, lol.

Enjoy your weekend and don't work to hard.
