Making Head Way

Today is Thursday, April 1, 2010. This week has turned out to be a gorgeous week and is supposed to stay that way until Saturday, cloudy. I can live with that, today is supposed to be 82 degrees today.

Things are moving along with the RV, not done thinking it will be another week. But I am making progress. The boys came out yesterday and wanted to help. WOW, this was different. Maybe they thought I wasn't moving fast enough for them. Having the help was wonderful.

George won't be home until the 16th and on the 19th is our go date. This is the longest that he has been gone, four weeks. So we are almost half way there.

I changed the boys school work to do in the evenings instead of the mornings. This seems to be working better for them and me too. I have all day to work on the RV and then dinner and school work.

Mama came over yesterday and was sitting outside while I was hanging the laundry. I guess that she never really sat out in the yard here. She thought it was so quiet and peaceful, just us and the critters. This made me start thinking about how we were all going to react to being in an RV park. I don't think there is to much space between each other. Sharing a pool will be another real eye opener, however I won't have to clean it or worry about the chemicals.

We are all looking forward to the new adventure, being together again and doing things we have never done and seen before. But I do think that at the end of a couple of months, we will all be really happy to see home. The yard that will take a couple of days to cut, the pool that will need chemicals and a few days to clear, and a home that will need to be opened and aired out. And life goes on.....

Remember yesterday, dream about tomorrow, but live today. ~Brightest Blessings~

  5. Whoo hooo on the weather, we finally got some too!! It was in the mid seventies here, loving it!! I can't wait to hear about your adventures and I wish I were going with you.

So sorry George won't be home for Easter, sigh...4 weeks is a very long time, it's a good thing you have the RV to work on that will help keep your mind occupied until he's back home.

Enjoy your beautiful weather!! Be sure to post lots of pictures of the RV when it's done.
