Time To Get Back To The Old Ways!

Today is Tuesday, January 29, 2013.  It has been up and down with the weather.  One day it is in the high 80's and the next it is in the 30's.  Yesterday the house was opened up and really nice until about 9 last night, then the temp spiked to 83 inside.  Thursday it is supposed to get back down into the 30's. The poor trees are so confused.

I was out taking pictures and smudging and grinding when I had a visitor.  She was the biggest, fattest spider I have ever seen.  Yet she had no fear of me or my movements.  This area was her home and she wasn't going anywhere.  I called George over to see her, the size just amazed me, he asked me do you want me to kill her for you? WHAT? are you kidding me? She is beautiful! Leave her alone. I did move her over by the trees, sorry lady but that is my picnic table and we do eat on it.  She would freak out my daughter and daughter in law.  But with her attitude, I bet she comes back.

It has been a year and a half now and I feel pretty damn good!  Still have to go to the doctors every 2 months, but that's okay. Time to get my shop stocked with new stock and opened up right.  I listed some new items yesterday and sold the quilt last night. Amazing what can happen if you put some effort into it.

I am on a mad push for sales and I will explain tomorrow what the money is being saved for.  It is my little project.....

Brenda I am not ignoring you! Promise, let me tell you what happened.  You all know that I make the friendship bread every ten days.  Well it sits on the counter in a zip lock freezer bag and everyday you have to squish it around and let the air out from it rising.  Well it must have really gotten big, because it rolled off the breakfast bar onto the counter and well, it was all over the counter not to mention in the coffee pot too.  I haven't made new starter yet, but maybe this weekend. After it settles down I will get one sent out to you. Pinkie promise.

This is one of the new little journals or diary that I have started making. I love these! The new sewing machine that I got does so many things. I am loving it!

Then of course a couple of the ones that I have been making for years. Everyone loves these, so I will continue to make them.

This is a new style that I am trying and have sold one similar to it already, so I will be making more.

It seems like the more that I do and get finished up, the more energy I have.  It sure seems like it has taken forever to regain that energy.  Still not able to get things done as fast as I  use to, but hey it is getting done.

After the shop is back up to where it needs to be, I want to do a face life to my blog.  It was ages in the black and then on a whim I did this one. It's okay, but not me. One step at a time.....Wishing everyone a happy, healthy, productive day!

~Remember yesterday, dream about tomorrow, but live today!~ Brightest Blessing
