Today is Sunday, March 21, 2010. It has been raining all day and is supposed to through tomorrow. Yesterday was like a beautiful summer day, seventy-three degrees and sunny! Couldn't ask for a more gorgeous day.
I couldn't have asked for a better weekend! George got home late Thursday night and Friday went to pick up this motor home. After almost six months of trying to buy a place or rent a place, we decided to just be still. There was a reason that things were not happening and it was time to just be still. We were still and in just a matter of two weeks, a friend that he use to work with, has a brother had a motor home he wanted to sell. He was paying storage fees, it belonged to his father in law that had passed a couple of years ago. He just wanted it to be gone.
This is a wonderful answer for us. With George having to contract, if any of you have had to contract or married to someone that has had to, you know that you don't have a clue as to how long a job will last. He is in Greenville, not to far from the coast and summer is coming. The boys are really excited about going on the road. There are some things that I want to redo and those home touches that need to be done but we are all really excited.
So now if this job ends and he has to go somewhere else, no big deal. Just load up and go. Spring has brought this family, new beginnings and for sure lots of new adventures.
Hoping that everyone had a Blessed Ostara!
Remember yesterday, dream about tomorrow, but live today.~Brightest Blessings~
Sounds like a wonderful solution -- and a great adventure

What a perfect solution, and one that opens doors for new adventures for all of you! I'm SO happy for you!
ReplyDeleteYou're right. .sometimes when things don't go the way that we would like, and are disappointed, we only need to be patient, because somewhere just around the bend, some more of the puzzle falls into place, and we have our "ahah!" moment when we benefit from the bigger picture.
Just make sure you stay where they have internet service! We can't be without our Dede for too long at a time!
Happy Trails To You. . . . .
how wonderful for you all!
ReplyDeleteWhat a great solution for you. My dream has always been to own one of those and travel through every state of the country.

Oh Dede how blessed was that. Patience is the hardest thing in a rushed world. Ostara was great here and then it got in the 30's that night LOL...cold all day Sunday...Past couple days have been nice though. Have had a bad fibro flare the past week. We have a camper just like that.
