There Is No Place Like Home

Today is Thursday, March 10, 2011. A gorgeous Spring day it was today! Just beautiful!

We arrived home last night about 5 pm, it was a very long day, started with a doctor at 6:30 and finally finished with another one about 2 pm finished up with getting things set up for supplies and the home health nurse about 3 pm, got the liquid pain meds, you know the ones that have to go up your nose before they can get to your stomach. Got on the road about 4 and home about 5 along with the afternoon thunderstorms.

Marie the cancer was Squamous cell carcinomas stage 2. I made him write it down for you. He is positive they got it all and it is not in my chest! So a skin graph in a couple of weeks on my right arm (yes, I am typing one handed) and start radiation for 6 weeks. Oh and the most important my voice box replaced. But I do believe that all of these are the day surgeries. The radiation is about 10 minutes Monday thru Friday for six weeks.

I need to go do a feeding, Bless his heart George is taking a nap on the love seat, and lay down myself with my humidifier. No longer have a trach, I now have a stoma.

Thank everyone for all of the healing positive energy, prayers and cards! Christina I love my roosters!

Remember yesterday, dream about tomorrow, but live today!~Brightest Blessing~

  6. Dear Dede,
i wish all your power for fighting against this cancer.
Hear i had one with stadium 2 10 years ago, but i didn't make a chemotherapy. i had just an operation and than i health this bad sickness with alternative medicine and after i started with my herbs.
So think about it, you are a wicca and beliefe in it. Take a Mistelwater every day....
It will help you and ask some alternative medicine to give a strong immunsystem.
So all the best blessed be

  7. my dearest one, I am so glad you are home and are on the mend! I couldn't have asked for a better gift for you than to be home with your family and healthier. George and your son deserve great awards for keeping those that love you upto date, I feel so blessed to have been a part of that and will be mailing out a certain item to you and as for the trade I say no I think this is something you need to have and want to give you. Love you Dede and please just work on becoming stronger and becoming 100% again.

  10. Oh I'm so glad you are home Dear. And doing so well. You still have a long road ahead of you, but keep a good attitude.

I really hate to say that.... About keeping good attitude. It's so easy for others, to say that. -sigh- And yet, it also has to be wise.

Anyway, I will not do any advising. Just wishing you all that is wonderful and good, and best.

    Gentle hugs...
