A Productive Day For Projects

Today is Thursday, May 21, 2009. We are going on day four of rain here. By the time that it stops, it will be time to mow the yard again. The weather is still cool and breezy.

Yesterday was a productive day. Finished one project, all but finished another and started another. Should be able to finish up those two today. I had found two vintage blue and white
napkins, that were so pretty. So they are going to be a tote, "Something Old and Something New".

Then there is the purple tote that I will finish today. Different shades of purple and daisies too. It is going to be so summer. The other on that is just waiting on a button turned out so nice. The colors are just so hot.

Also spent a few hours with mom. I had purchased some "Goddess Garden Tea" blossom blooming tea balls. Mom loves her tea, however she had never had a blooming tea ball. She was thrilled with it. It was gorgeous ! I love seeing mom excited with "firsts".
Love_goddess_thumb200 Goddess Garden Tea Blossom Blooming Green Tea Balls x2 $5.00

And yes, it really does look like this! You too can purchase these from OshunSpirit1. She has several different varities and so many other awesome things. If you have a chance, take a peek at this Bonanzle booth. Super customer service and wonderful products. You will get lost in her booth. She takes Google Checkout, Money Orders and PayPal for payment. Quick to ship also! A wonderful person!

Have a happy, healthy, productive day!

Taking The Day Off

Today is Friday, May 15, 2009. Today is going to be a muggy day today, it is hot already and humid. Well, the rain came, all of about 10 minutes of mist. That's ok though, it gave me an excuse to get outside, had to water the garden and plants.

I didn't get the sewing done yesterday that I wanted to, grandchildren are really drawn to the pin cushion. It has to be all of the colors. The little ones like to push all of the pins all the way down and the older ones like to color coordinate the colors.

Going to take the day off from business today and work outside. The dogs really are in need of a bath. She loves the water and he could live without it. Must be a guy thing. Get the lawn mowed and trimmed up.

Then tomorrow will start working on business again. Maybe get some of my sewing projects finished up and new ones going. That would be wonderful, hubby is off so that may not work out so well.

Have an awesome weekend!
Brightest Blessings!

Finished My Project

Today is Saturday, April 25, 2009. It is hot again up in the 90's something that I'm not thrilled with the heat and no breeze to go with it. This is the little rose bush that has made a thriving come back. A real beauty! Almost a lavender color with a lot more buds! I think the squirrels were in the catnip yesterday. I watched one fall off the feeder into the water container and another fall out of the same tree twice. They were acting really crazy just pinging off of the trees and the house.

I finished my baby's little quilt and like I said it isn't the way that I wanted it to look however, it is the ones that she picked out. LOL Less than two and already knows what she wants. Wait another ten years, oh boy.

I was able to find the Pooh and friends binding to put around it. I figure that as she grows I will be able to remove the binding and add to it.

Remember to write those Abundance checks today and smudge, you have 24 hours after a New Moon to do this. Really busy today trying to check out two other selling venues and a hosting site for my website. Really looking forward to expanding or branching out.

So with that being said I need to get into a forward direction and get busy. Need to get a few more plants into the ground today also. If you get a chance stop over at BrightestBlessings!

My Rant For The Day

Today is Tuesday, April 21, 2009. Another beautiful day! This is a picture of the rose bush that mom gave me that was all but dead just before winter. The sprout with 3 buds is an off shoot of the main one. Even with the squirrels using it for a ladder to stare at me to bring them more groceries, it is thriving! Will take more pictures when then open. I am so amazed at this little guy!

Started the quilt for my grand daughter, mistake was working on it when she showed up. Not the way that I would have done it, however as my son let me to know, it is her quilt. She is two and knows what she wants. It should be interesting when it is finished. She just had a hay day in the fabric.

I do believe that I will be taking my business to a web site all of it's own. This has been a long time in coming and I really do believe it is time to move forward. I use to love Bonanzle, something to look forward to everyday. Not so much the case any more.

It seems that with growth comes change and change is good. The forums use to be a place to go to have a break and have some "fun". Now they seem to be almost toxic. Then of course you have a few that if they don't like what is said the thread winds up in drama or poofs. I will say that it was a terrific site when it was about 600 members.

The new home page is all the same color, no matter what items are featured. Paying a membership was supposed to have exposure to the front page. HA! Now it seems that if you have the word e-bay in your listing and less than three points on the "More Seller Details" page you will be on the home page. I have checked several of the lists and it seems that if you are a non supporting member your items will be there. A lot of them haven't even changed the generic avatar or logged in since they dumped their items on Bonanzle. It seems it is all about the "pretty" pictures. Sorry folks, I would think it had to do with who was buttering my bread.

Well enough about my rant this morning. Have a quilt to finish and laundry to hang. Have a wonderful day! Get out in the dirt today and have some fun! BrightestBlessings!

A Couple of Family Projects

Today is Sunday, April 19, 2009. A little on the over cast side, but that's ok. It's warm but not hot and humid. The birds are singing and the squirrels are playing. They really are awesome to watch. The little ones are funny to watch them box each other.

Today I am going to start a quilt for my grand daughter. She loves Eeyore so this is what she will have. Then to start the cameo one for my grandson. Have two other orders to finish up, but they are almost finished and today is Sunday, so I will work on family projects.

Found a really interesting blog, "Your Health", that you might want to check out. I ordered a ten week supply of this Essiac. It would figure that if something was this good that the medical community would not want you to use it or be able to purchase it. Go figure....

Colors for the coming week:

Monday Silver
Tuesday Black
Wednesday Brown
Thursday White
Friday Coral New Moon don't forget to smudge and write those abundance checks!
Saturday Blue
Sunday Amber

Stop on over at my Bonanzle booth if you get a chance today. BrightestBlessings!

New Items In My Bonanzle Booth

Today is Friday, April 17, 2009. Another beautiful day! The sun is shining and a breeze. This is what happens when I didn't take the time to fill the feeder yesterday. He crawled up my rose bush and to the window he came. He will sit there and just stare at me, like hey we need groceries out here. So it was time to go feed the critters.

Today I am working on a new tote that I am excited about. The fabric is very unique in design. The colors aren't colors that I would have put together, however they look great. I am still trying to find angel fabric. Not having to much luck in that area. Of course, that would be what mom is wanting.....

If you haven't seen the You Tube of Susan Boyle, you really need to watch it. Make sure you have the box of tissues handy. She is a beautiful lady with enormous talent, that over came a fear that most of us would have silenced. She is an inspiration to all of us! I thank you Susan Boyle for the lesson that you taught so many in under 7 minutes! You will watch this more than once.......

Here are the newest additions:

All of the buttons are handmade by Bettye of SomethingPretty's Bonanzle booth. If you don't see what you are needing this lady will make it. You can even send her a picture of the fabric to match the color or design to. She has some amazing talent! They are button covers that just slide off before washing and drying.

Stop on over at my Bonanzle booth and check out the totes. The ST.Judes one can be found at this Bonanzle booth or will be shortly. It is for the charity auction in May. Stop on over and check out a few of the other new items I have added.

Brightest Blessings!

A Couple of Finished Projects For My Bonanzle Booth

Today is Thursday, April 16, 2009. Another beautiful day, the sun is shinning and there is a small breeze. Went back to the doctor on Monday only to leave with 4 more medications. If this doesn't work, (here we go again) you are going to need to go to an ENT doctor. You may have polyps and they will have to be removed. I don't think so. I will settle for what I have, one small tiny, very tiny slip and I will not a voice. Sorry doc, that is not an option. There is no second time around to fix that. I will be very happy with what I have and leave it at that.

The last couple of days have been productive. I finished up a "Blue Dragon" tote and the "ST. Judes" tote. Both are waiting for the buttons, which will be here today. I also finished up the "Butterfly" tote, which is so pretty. I will post the pictures and get them in my Bonanzle booth later this afternoon when the button covers get here.

Have started the putting together of the fabric for my next one and will work more on it tomorrow. Have another special tote to do and will tell you more about it tomorrow. This one is just as special as the ST. Judes one. It too is for a very worth while cause.

Have an awesome day and if you get a chance, stop over at my Bonanzle booth. BrightestBlessings!

As promised here at the pictures of the three totes, "Blue Dragon", "ST.Judes", and "Butterflies".

A Productive Weekend For My Bonanzle Booth

Today is Saturday, April 11, 2009. A cloudy and windy day here. A good day to continue on my projects for my Bonanzle booth.

This weekend I have completed the "Blue Dragon" tote and the St. Judes charity auction tote. Waiting on the buttons, which should be here on Monday. I will post pictures when they are completed. Also started the "Butterflies" tote which is going to be gorgeous when finished! The colors in this one are fabulous!

Most of the kids are off work tomorrow so it's going to be a Mexican dinner at moms house. So I have to quit working on my projects soon and do the chores and get to the store. This was a last minute dinner, awe gotta love it. It seems that the less planning that goes into something the better it really turns out. Family dinners have always been done at "moms" we have a great time and get lots of family memories out of it too.

I started doing the "LIMBO" last week and it has been fun. It runs from Wednesday to Saturday at 8 pm est. It is great to find some great deals. Click on the "LIMBO" and it will take you to the thread with all of the Bonanzle booth links that are also playing.

Have a productive weekend and enjoy your family!

No Down Time For Bonanzle, Just Me

Today is Sunday, February 15, 2009. The sun is just starting to rise over the cloudy sky. I have missed almost of week of life, have had the flu and a nasty one at that. Still not over it, however feeling much better this morning than I have since last Monday. From what I can see the feeder is in desperate need of food.

I did manage to get my first sewing project ever completed. I found this to be very relaxing and enjoyable. Unlike most projects, you can put this one down and come back to where you left off without having to read and reread the directions to figure out where you were at. The only problem I had was trying to figure out the button to use. So, off to find a piece of clay to make my own. Very happy with the results.

Now I do believe that a lot of this pleasure was due to the easy instructions/pattern that I had purchased from Rag Quilt Creations . She has taken time to explain and the pictures are just awesome. Not to mention that she is more than willing to help you along the way if need be. She also has a blog, Rag Quilt Creations that she has started listing tips and tricks.

Now while I was laid out on the couch, Bonanzle has switched over to the new server. So, now that this is done, I need to get my new templates up and running to match everything in my Bonanzle booth.

Plans for today are to start redoing my listings in my Bonanzle booth Brightest Blessings. So if you are out, stop in and say hi. Would love your feedback.

Brightest Blessings!

Brightest Blessings Bonanzle Booth

Good Morning! Today is Thursday, January 22, 2009. The sun is shining and the temperature is 14 degrees outside. Good news is it is supposed to get into the 60's today. The doves are walking into the yard to get their breakfast. The squirrels are enjoying the corn, while the cardinals are just watching the sparrows from the fence.

Still no word from Sharon about the templates. However, I did get my corn dollies finished and listed in my BrightestBlessings Bonanzle booth. So excited about that. Bonanzle has had a few changes this morning and for the better of the community. If you would like to read more you can at Bill's Bonanzle Blog.

The days are getting longer, as I was washing dishes last night, I thought that I was really ahead of schedule, it was still light outside. Then I looked at the clock, wow it is still day light. Spring will be here before we know it with all of the new growth, new beginings.

Imbolc is 11 days away! I decorated my altar to honor Brigid with lots of candles, in yellows, greens, white, pinks and pale blue, with a white and gold altar cloth. It looks so pretty, so bright and warm.

Come over and chat if you have time, would love to hear your feedback.
BrightestBlessings!
