Brightest Blessings Going to Sew

Good Morning! Today is February 2, 2009 Happy Imbolc ! The sun is staring to come up, over a pink sky. The squirrels are tearing up that feeder this morning, must be after those sunflower seeds. There are some many sparrow on the ground it appears to be moving. Those are some quick little critters. The cardinals are just sitting on the fence, no sign of the doves yet.

I found the cutiest little Bonanzle booth that makes handbags and other things, called rag quilting. I had never seen this before so after taking a closer look, she also has patterens for sale to make your own.

The small totes are my favorite. There is just enough room in them to take what is needed. After my children out grew the diapers and bottles I was free to go back to using a real handbag. Looking through Rag Quilt Creations Bonanzle booth I was hooked. This lady has some kind of talent!

So never really being a person that could sew, other than repacing a button or putting on a patch, I have decided that I want to learn to sew. I e-mailed her to find out if this pattern would be at a beginners level and she got right back to me with a yes. Thought that I had the fabric picked out only to find out that I need 5 inch squares and not 4 inch.

While picking out a pattern I thought well I will just have to have that lavender pin cushion as well. It is just beautiful!

After I get all of my listings changed out this week and finish up my clay Book of Shadows, next week I will spend time learning to sew. So many plans to make new things, like large totes to take into town, no more plastic. Make the grandkids quilts out of their outgrown clothing, just so many ideas.

Have a Happy Imbolc! Stop by my Bonanzle booth and chat, that would be fun!

Brightest Blessings Bonanzle Booth

Today is Saturday, January 17,2009. A beautiful sunrise this morning, very cold here. Only a couple of sparrows this morning, maybe to cold for the other critters too.

Today I will get a few corn dollies made and maybe even list a couple of them to sell. Have to work on more Book of Shadows this week. Two more sold yesterday and a special order. Might even have time to work on my altar cloths.

Hubby's days off have been changed so that really messes me up on my work schedule here. Then of course I am never really sure of the day of the week. Today should be Sunday and it is Saturday.

Did talk him into expanding on his education and go for his IA certification. He will have no problem in getting it, just needs the push to do it. If you don't like where your job is going, then you have to look at your options and take action. There is no sense in being unhappy at a job, you spend to many hours of your life there.

Heard back from my friend and she is "back to normal" as she put it. Imagine that.....It's time to start thinking about all of the things that we don't need in our lives and the things that are important. Moving in new directions and letting go of the things that are no longer needed or good for us.

Please stop over at my Bonanzle booth and say hi. If there are things that you need, let me know, chances are good that I have them. Or things that you think that I should carry.

Good Morning! Today is Tuesday, January 13, 2009, raining here and very cool. If it gets much cooler here it won't be rain. The sparrows have taken over the feeder this morning, leaving the doves and cardinals to the ground work. I believe this cooler weather makes the squirrels really crazy. They just ping from the base of one tree to the other and then do it all over again.

Got my special orders out yesterday, everyone should have their new Book of Shadows by Wednesday.

Also got a few more totes done yesterday and will finish them up this morning. Then to get pictures and get them listed. Will be working on a few new projects the next couple of weeks. I love working on new projects, don't care for the listing, however at Bonanzle it isn't a chore to do.

Still no word from Sharon at SNL Designs, however these templates are a lot of work. Like I have said before, she does quality work, and well worth the wait! If you are looking to brand your business, or just want a new look contact Sharon she will work with you to get just the look you are wanting.

If you have a few minutes, stop by my Bonanzle booth for a chat and any thoughts that you may have to share.

Good Morning! Today is Monday, January 12, 2009 and a beautiful day it is! A little foggy this morning, that is burning off quickly. The sky is blue an looks like there will not be rain today. The critters have all come to eat and a few stragglers are still here.

The Wolf Moon on Saturday was so intense! The energy level was off the chart, and the beauty was just awesome. Something very different about this one.

This weeks colors are:
Monday - Lavender
Tuesday - White
Wednesday - Brown
Thursday - Turquoise
Friday - Pink
Saturday - Gray
Sunday - Gold

Still no word from Sharon at SNL Designs. No news is good news. I am truly excited about her doing my templates, she is just an awesome artist! My new business cards that she designed have been shipped and the e-mail business card is downloaded. Waiting.......something that I am not very good at.

Have to cut it short today, have three Book of Shadows that are special orders that I need to finish up today and get out to the Post Office. Also have some new Altar cloths to work on and get finished up.

If you have a chance to stop by and chat, I would love to chat with you!

Merry Meet and Welcome To My Bonanzle Booth

Today is Friday, January 9, 2009. A beautiful sunrise this morning although a little chilly again this morning. The sparrows and squirrels have been enjoying the fresh seed. The doves are always happy to take what is thrown on the ground to them. I t would seem that the rose bush that I rescued from mom, is doing well. New growth and brilliant green just awesome.

Tomorrow is the wolf moon. Should be just beautiful if the weather doesn't change like it did last month. Last night was just breath taking, very clear and cold. Get those stones out there! Enjoy some quiet time, time to start making plans moving forward.

We tend to get lazy in our belief and practice until things start happening. This would be a wonderful time to work on protection for you and your family. I smudge my home every
new moon. Don't wait for things to happen before you start thinking when was the last time
I .......? I understand that life happens and sometime time is a real issue, however taking time
for the things that are important in our live has to become a priority.

Still no word from Sharon of SNL Design. I know that I have asked so much of her on this one that it might be a few days to make this happen. However, I know that she can do it. If you are looking to make your booth or store your own, make sure to stop over and see her. If you are unsure of what you are looking for, send her and e-mail and set up a chat time with her. I just can't say enough good things about this lady.

I now ship international and excited to be doing it. Will add that to all of my listings as soon as I start changing the templates. Don't want to do everything twice. If you have some suggestions or just want to chat, stop over at my Bonanzle booth. I would love to chat.

Merry Meet and Welcome To My Bonanzle Booth

Good Afternoon! Today is Thursday, January 8, 2009!
Oh what a chilly day it is here. Wind is blowing but the sun is shinning. Going to have to figure out how to fix this bird feeder so these crazy squirrels stop getting stuck in there.

Talk about customer service, I e-mailed Sharon of SNL Designs, yesterday about my avatar and she has already made and sent the new one with just my selling ID! This lady is just to kewl. As much as I hate to admit it, my son was right. She looks beautiful with just my selling ID.

This morning I woke up to find a new template that she has been working on for my Bonanzle Booth. She thought it was going to be to hard to work with. I did one listing with it, just to try it out and had no issues with using it. Sharon's instructions are really easy to follow, nothing is ever left out. So I am waiting ever so patiently to hear back from her. I am still so excited!

Stop by SNL Designs Bonanzle Booth and check out her already made items or get her to brand your booth for you. She is just super to work with! So many options to chose from. If you are unsure of what you are looking for, send her an e-mail and set up a time to chat with her in her Bonanzle Booth. You will be so glad that you did.

I am really excited about getting this to all come together. This isn't something that you can go into without any thought. Lots of time will go into just changing out your avatar not to mention redoing all of your listings. Getting your bussiness cards and return labels, e-mail business card all will take some time to get it together. It's like redecorating your house. Lots of work, but how exciting to do and then to see the final project finished.

My redirect link will go on all of my business cards and anything that the customer comes into comtact with. Why? Because I want my customer to find me quickly. If for some unknown reason somthing happens at Bonanzle, all I have to do is go in and change where I want my customer to land. This I had to learn the hard way.

Stop by and chat would really like to hear any ideas that you may have.

Brightest Blessings Wiccans 10% off on Tickle Me Tuesday on Bonanzle

Good Morning! I have made a mistake on the vote on your favorite Bonanzle Booth. It will be next Tuesday, Election Day. So, make sure that you get out there and vote twice that day. Tomorrow is Tickle Me Tuesday on Bonanzle with 43 participating Bonanzle Booths at this moment! Tomorrow is also a New Moon. A time for new begingins and time to write those Abundance Checks. For those of you who don't know how to do this, it is very easy to do. Take out a blank check, on the Pay to the Order Line, put your name, write NO date, in the amount box, write paid in full, in the written amount line, again write paid in full. Now sign the check Law of Abundance, where your bank name is cross it out and write, Universal Bank of Abundance. Just put it away in a safe place and watch the abundance flow to you. This needs to be done within 24 hours of a New Moon. Every New Moon I always smudge my house. We tend to get lazy about protecting ourselves and our homes and often don't smudge until "something" is happening. You have to remember, you are in control of the things that you do to protect yourself and family. We can not get lazy about it, or I forgot. Remember to give thanks everyday for all of your blessings! Even the little things! Do remember to use your Book of Shadows, everyday. There is always something to add to it. My Bonanzle Booth, Brightest Blessings Wiccans

Like I said in an earlier post, I had started out on another site, however I had to keep raising my prices to cover the never ending fees. I didn't want to continue to raise prices so I was invited by someone to come and have a look at Bonanzle. WOW! I sure am glad that I took a few minutes of my time to check them out. I was told that it wouldn't take me 60 seconds to make a listing, yeah right, I thought. No kidding, Bonanzle is truly a one click listing procedure and it can be done in under 60 seconds. You can even crop your pictures at the same time, so everything is done, bam. My wooden Book of Shadows are all handmade my me. Special orders are always welcome. They can be safely expanded to 4 inches and larges if needed. Easy to take apart and rearrange your book when needed or to add to it. My tarot boxes are also handmade by me. Your tarot deck will fit nicely in them or can be used to hold stones, herbs or what nots on your altar. My latest are the complete altar kits. The wooden boxes hold everything neatly in them. I make the clay chime candle holers and the incense burners are also made of clay. What you see in the pictures are what you are getting. I set everything up to take the pictures and then tucked everything back into their wooden boxes. They are great for someone that travels or has a small apartment. There are also bracelets and a couple necklaces with pentacles, triquetras and my favorite are the pentacle hidden in the circle of hearts. Then there are of course those little gotta have items too. Grab yourself a cup of your favorite herbal tea and come check out my Bonanzle Booth located at: http://www.bonanzle.com/booths/BrightestBlessings

What to Put In My Book of Shadows

It seems that no matter what group or on line site, there is always a question about is it alright to use my computer for my BOS or do I have to write everything by hand? Can I put this or that in it or does it have to be in certain inks? So I just thought that I would post the "Directions" that I send with all of my Book of Shadows that I sell. I sell on Bonanzle and love it, great karma there! Great prices and super people! Check out my booth at http://bonanzle.com/booths/BrightestBlessings . We can also chat in real time! This feature is just to kewl. Bonanzle is growing quickly we have 183555 listing this morning and 4379 users. That listing count has us at the 13th position on the Power Sellers Unite Listing Chart. Go Bonanzle!
Direction for Book of Shadows
This is my BOS. No one tell me what I can and can't put in it. No one can tell me that I can't have typed pages or pages done on my computer. No one can tell me that I can't have hand written pages or that they allhave to be had written. No one can tell me that I can't have black and white or color. This is MY choice and NO ONE else's. I can put what ever I choose to put in it and I don't have to have anything I don't want in it. This is MY BOS and it is MY choice as to what I put in it. If I want to use cut outs, pressed herbs, or waxed seals this is MY choice. This is MY BOS and it is MY choice how I put it together and what I put into it. I will not allow anyone else to tell me how MY BOS should be done. Just remember to use it and to pass it down.
