My Project For The Day For A Special Friend

Today is Monday, September 7, 2009. It is still dark out and very quiet in the world. My favorite time of the day. All set for the moment with a hot cup of coffee.

Today my project is to work on a "selling blog" for a wonderful friend. Sharon of SNL Designs. She does the most wonderful templates, banners, avatars and web designs. She sells on the bay and after they make it against the rules to do digital downloads, sales went south. Which I can understand. When I purchased my templates and banners, avatars, I didn't want to wait for a CD to arrive in the mail.

Yesterday I had sent her an e-mail her about a banner for my Etsy shop and within a couple of hours I had it in my in box another thirty seconds to upload it and it was in my shop. If we had done it the bays way it would have been a week before I received it.

She does ALL venue templates, banners and avatars. I truly enjoy working with her, she doesn't collect your money and that is the end. I remember the first template that I bought from her on the bay for my bay store. When I got the e-mail, well needless to say, I thought what have I gotten myself into. After reading her instructions, I did it! She had been checking my store to see if I had an issues, this I didn't know until I received an e-mail from her, telling me why the red x was next to my pictures and how to correct it. She is a sweetheart and today I will set up a blog for her, Branding Your Business.

The picture is of the apple stacker that I did get to make and is now hanging in the window, when the sun is shinning on it, oh it smells just wonderful. Going to bake a few trays of the apples while working on the selling blog. Maybe I will get to use them for the wreath this time.

Time to get to work and another cup of coffee. Hope that everyone had a splendid weekend. Remember yesterday, dream about tomorrow, but live today. ~Brightest Blessings~

Branding Your Bonanzle Booth

Today is Monday, March 9, 2009. The sun is just starting to rise and a little cool out this morning. Today is going to be a great day!

I have finally finished completely redoing all of my listings with my new template from Sharon at SNL Designs. This lady has some kind of talent. She is with you while deciding on your look as well as after the sale. Her designs are hers. They are not clip art.

Thanks to Sharon my Bonanzle Booth is mine. Everything matches with one design. She made my avatar, banner, templates and business card design. She even went the extra mile to upload my design to Vista Print for me to make sure everything looked and worked great.

Business cards go everywhere with me and left everywhere I go. When mailing out orders I place my business card and magnet in the orders. The return address label also matches. Everything that has my name on it now is branded.

If you are a serious on line seller branding your business is very important. You want people to see your avatar and know who it is. You want them to get a package and see the return label and know who it is from. You want your business card magnet on their refrigerator for everyone to see. You want your business card in their wallet. You want them to see that design and know exactly who it is.

Sharon at SNL Desings will make your Bonanzle booth your own. She has made my Bonanzle booth Brightest Blessings mine. Just like having your own web site. Go for the OOAK banners and avatars. These are yours and no one elses. If you are not sure what you are looking for send her an e-mail. She is very creative, tell her your ideas and she will build your new look for you and only you. Thank you Sharon for making my Bonanzle booth mine! You are the best!

A Little Bonanzle Break

Today is Tuesday, February 10, 2009 and a beautiful day it is! The sun is shinning and a very slight breeze. The sparrows are just loving it.

Bonanzle has been running a little slow this week, so gave up on redoing my listing with my new templates that Sharon from SNL Designs has designed and worked so hard on. Bonanzle is getting yet another server update sometime this week. So after that happens I will try it again. Just gives me a chance to get some things finished up at the house. A little break.

Have one clay BOS almost ready and excited about it. Still working on my sewing, have had some major interruptions this week here at home. Might have a son moving back home, this economy has got to get moving.

So with that said, I know have to clean out the "spare" room. What a real job this has turned out to be. Nothing in that room can go into the shed, climate control. Have tons of tattoo stuff and all of the body piercing stuff that has to stay clean. The autoclave machine, the hot iron press, the tattoo guns all have to go into totes and stored somewhere else in the house.

Last night was just a beautiful night just an awesome Snow Moon. It was a little chilly, however it was a very clear night, some very good energy.

My Bonanzle Experience

Good Morning! Today is February 5, 2009 and a very cold morning it is about 18 degrees. The sun is not up yet, got an early start on the day. All is quiet.....

I received my patterns from Rag Quilt Creations and I do believe that I will be able to make these very cute handbags. Before buying I e-mailed her to ask if these would be a beginners project. When I say beginner, I mean staring from scratch, know nothing beginner. She e-mailed be right back saying that it would be a good beginner project.

The instructions are very clear and the pictures are awesome. Had a couple of questions, however after reading the instructions all of the way through a couple of times, I got it figured out. Something to be said about reading the directions first.

I had found the fabric that I really wanted to use. It is just beautiful and in purple! Only to realize that I needed 5 inch squares and not 4 inch. So at the advice of Rag Quilt Creations, I sent and e-mail to Brenda's Fabric Goodies inquiring if these also came in 5 inch squares.

Well to my surprise the seller came on line and answered my e-mail right away with a sure! I was shocked at the fast response and the willingness of this seller to help me with this project. Within a few hours, she had them shipped out to me. This in my book is terrific customer service. She has got my business. So wish me luck, I will be starting this project Saturday.

Close

This is the handbag and this is the fabric.
Just beautiful colors together. So I figure I can use the purple and floral for the outside and the other two lilac patterns for the inside. Truly excited about this new learning experience! Looking forward to it.

Well I have one clay Book of Shadows almost finished that should be finished up on Saturday. Still haven't had time to get my listings changed over to the new templates from Sharon at SNL Designs. Am going to try to have them finished up by the end of the weekend.

Brightest Blessings Bonanzle Booth Is Getting A New Look

Good Morning! Today is February 1, 2009 and a beautiful day it is. The sun is shinning and the birds are singing. The squirrels are tearing up the feeder again this morning. Yesterday was a disaster as far as getting anything done. House full of kids, spouses, and grandkids. They arrived about 9:30 and left about 8:30 last night. Threw together a dinner of burgers and fries and the clutter of them all being here is unbearable. So needless to say my clay Book of Shadows are not finished.

Now don't get me wrong, I love spending time with them, but when you put that many people into a house it gets really small and the noise level soars. I am having issues with my voice and most of the time it doesn't get above a whisper. This seems to come and go, it is very annoying to say the least. They are all trying to do their taxes and I am trying to explain to each one of them, at the same time, what they need to do. Going ot have to get a whistle.

However I did get some great news last night when I logged into Bonanzle last night, when all was quiet again. Sharon from SNL Designs had my templates done! She was the high light of my day. I am so excited to get them. Now comes the work of changing all of my 100 plus listing over to the new templates. My Bonanzle booth is going to look like mine again!

If you are needing a banner, avatar or Bonanzle templates, SNL Designs is the place to go. Sharon doesn't leave you once the transaction is over. She has awesome step by step directions that she sends with the templates and is more than willing to help you. She has premade that you can purchase or get with her about and Ooak look. Her prices are wonderful, professional service all of the way.

So this week I will be working on changing out all of my listings to the new templates and my clay Book of Shadows. My goals for this week is to get both completed by Friday. If you would like to see the new template, I did do one listing last night when she sent it. You can see it here.

If you have a chance to stop over at my Brightest Blessings Bonanzle booth, please do. Have a Wonderful Imbolc!

Business At Brightest Blessings Bonanzle Booth

Good morning! Today is January 29, 2009 and a beautiful day it is! The sun is up and shinning. It's warm again! Well, maybe not that warm, but a whole lot warmer than it has been. Not going near the pool anytime soon.

This little rose bush is just growing! This is the purple rose bush that mom gave me that was all but dead and this is a picture of the shoot. It is about three feet tall and all kinds of new growth. I am just thrilled with this little guy, can't wait to see what he has to offer this summer.

Had to fill the feeder again this morning. But what joy that brings! So many sparrows this morning. The doves have been ugly to one another. I am not sure what this is all about. Usually they could care less what is going on around them, just waddle around pecking at the ground, they have never been to the feeder.

Business has been picking up every week! Love my new home at Bonanzle. New business cards, magnets, return address and soon to have matching templates by Sharon at SNL Designs. Can you tell that I am excited? She is having issues with the code that is used on Bonanzle, when we view them, they look great, then all of the white shows up and that isn't there to start with. Hopefully Bill will come up with an answer or solution so that I can get my templates. Going through the are we there yet feelings. This is the ONLY thing that I miss about e-bay. These templates made my store mine. With my new OOak design, they will make my booth mine here at Bonanzle.

Checking Google Analytics everyday to see what is and isn't working to bring traffic to my booth. You would be so surprised at what you think is a good thing and working only to find out it is a complete waste of time not to mention sends that bounce rate sky high. So needless to say, I have changed my way of promoting my Bonanzle booth. Going to stay away from the sites that cause such a high bounce rate. So far I have brought my bounce rate down by almost 10% and upped my new visitors up to 31%.

WOW! It is pouring down rain! What happened to the sunshine? Although we need the rain that was a real shocker.

Going to get busy making those clay and wood Book of Shadows this morning. Excited out doing them again!

If you get a few minutes stop over and say hey! Would love to chat!

Brightest Blessings Bonanzle Booth

Good Morning! Today is Tuesday, January 13, 2009, raining here and very cool. If it gets much cooler here it won't be rain. The sparrows have taken over the feeder this morning, leaving the doves and cardinals to the ground work. I believe this cooler weather makes the squirrels really crazy. They just ping from the base of one tree to the other and then do it all over again.

Got my special orders out yesterday, everyone should have their new Book of Shadows by Wednesday.

Also got a few more totes done yesterday and will finish them up this morning. Then to get pictures and get them listed. Will be working on a few new projects the next couple of weeks. I love working on new projects, don't care for the listing, however at Bonanzle it isn't a chore to do.

Still no word from Sharon at SNL Designs, however these templates are a lot of work. Like I have said before, she does quality work, and well worth the wait! If you are looking to brand your business, or just want a new look contact Sharon she will work with you to get just the look you are wanting.

If you have a few minutes, stop by my Bonanzle booth for a chat and any thoughts that you may have to share.

Good Morning! Today is Monday, January 12, 2009 and a beautiful day it is! A little foggy this morning, that is burning off quickly. The sky is blue an looks like there will not be rain today. The critters have all come to eat and a few stragglers are still here.

The Wolf Moon on Saturday was so intense! The energy level was off the chart, and the beauty was just awesome. Something very different about this one.

This weeks colors are:
Monday - Lavender
Tuesday - White
Wednesday - Brown
Thursday - Turquoise
Friday - Pink
Saturday - Gray
Sunday - Gold

Still no word from Sharon at SNL Designs. No news is good news. I am truly excited about her doing my templates, she is just an awesome artist! My new business cards that she designed have been shipped and the e-mail business card is downloaded. Waiting.......something that I am not very good at.

Have to cut it short today, have three Book of Shadows that are special orders that I need to finish up today and get out to the Post Office. Also have some new Altar cloths to work on and get finished up.

If you have a chance to stop by and chat, I would love to chat with you!
Brightest Blessings!

Merry Meet and Welcome To My Bonanzle Booth

Today is Friday, January 9, 2009. A beautiful sunrise this morning although a little chilly again this morning. The sparrows and squirrels have been enjoying the fresh seed. The doves are always happy to take what is thrown on the ground to them. I t would seem that the rose bush that I rescued from mom, is doing well. New growth and brilliant green just awesome.

Tomorrow is the wolf moon. Should be just beautiful if the weather doesn't change like it did last month. Last night was just breath taking, very clear and cold. Get those stones out there! Enjoy some quiet time, time to start making plans moving forward.

We tend to get lazy in our belief and practice until things start happening. This would be a wonderful time to work on protection for you and your family. I smudge my home every
new moon. Don't wait for things to happen before you start thinking when was the last time
I .......? I understand that life happens and sometime time is a real issue, however taking time
for the things that are important in our live has to become a priority.

Still no word from Sharon of SNL Design. I know that I have asked so much of her on this one that it might be a few days to make this happen. However, I know that she can do it. If you are looking to make your booth or store your own, make sure to stop over and see her. If you are unsure of what you are looking for, send her and e-mail and set up a chat time with her. I just can't say enough good things about this lady.

I now ship international and excited to be doing it. Will add that to all of my listings as soon as I start changing the templates. Don't want to do everything twice. If you have some suggestions or just want to chat, stop over at my Bonanzle booth. I would love to chat.

Brightest Blessings!

Merry Meet and Welcome To My Bonanzle Booth

Good Afternoon! Today is Thursday, January 8, 2009!
Oh what a chilly day it is here. Wind is blowing but the sun is shinning. Going to have to figure out how to fix this bird feeder so these crazy squirrels stop getting stuck in there.

Talk about customer service, I e-mailed Sharon of SNL Designs, yesterday about my avatar and she has already made and sent the new one with just my selling ID! This lady is just to kewl. As much as I hate to admit it, my son was right. She looks beautiful with just my selling ID.

This morning I woke up to find a new template that she has been working on for my Bonanzle Booth. She thought it was going to be to hard to work with. I did one listing with it, just to try it out and had no issues with using it. Sharon's instructions are really easy to follow, nothing is ever left out. So I am waiting ever so patiently to hear back from her. I am still so excited!

Stop by SNL Designs Bonanzle Booth and check out her already made items or get her to brand your booth for you. She is just super to work with! So many options to chose from. If you are unsure of what you are looking for, send her an e-mail and set up a time to chat with her in her Bonanzle Booth. You will be so glad that you did.

I am really excited about getting this to all come together. This isn't something that you can go into without any thought. Lots of time will go into just changing out your avatar not to mention redoing all of your listings. Getting your bussiness cards and return labels, e-mail business card all will take some time to get it together. It's like redecorating your house. Lots of work, but how exciting to do and then to see the final project finished.

My redirect link will go on all of my business cards and anything that the customer comes into comtact with. Why? Because I want my customer to find me quickly. If for some unknown reason somthing happens at Bonanzle, all I have to do is go in and change where I want my customer to land. This I had to learn the hard way.

Stop by and chat would really like to hear any ideas that you may have.

Brightest Blessings!

Branding My Bonanzle Booth

This coming year I am so looking forward to going international and expanding my Bonanzle booth. Love to listen to the Auction Wally Brainstorming Bonanzle on one of his shows he talks about branding.

So this last week I contacted Sharon from SNL Designs at Bonanzle. I had worked with her when I was at the bay. She made the most beautiful templates. Sharon's work is quality and nothing gets by her. She helped me at the bay so I thought, lets go find Sharon.

I got with her about a new Ooak banner and business cards too. Within one day this lady had a banner and a business card design. This is my new Ooak business card and check out the new banner. I am so thrilled with both of them. Sharon is just an awesome seller to work with! She will send you proofs proir to the finished work. Very patient person with so much talent. Sharon offers banners*Avatars*Web Banners*Graphics Design*Fairy*Elf*Fantasy make sure to contact her first when it comes to your branding. SNL Designs

When thinking about branding I really didn't think it was a big deal. The other day it seemed like everyone on Bonanzle decided to change their avatar. I was just lost. Thought there were lots of new folks. Then it hit me, this is what Auction Wally ment. You would be so surprised at how many avatars that you know and names are second.

Do I now think that branding is important to my business? You bet I do! I am thrilled with the job that Sharon from SNL Designs has done for me and my business. I am excited about the new year and all that it has to offer.

If you have a few minutes, stop by me Bonanzle Booth Brightest Blessings Wiccans and chat. I would love to hear your ideas and your thoughts on my new look!

Have a wonderful new year and please be safe!

"I Know You!" In My Bonanzle Chat Box

When I started making handmade wooden Book of Shadows and other things for friends, I had no intentions of selling on line. However, as time went on I decided to open an e-bay store. I spent hours making it look just right. There was a lady there that sold auction templates and avatars.

I found just the perfect templates and my avatar! They were the ones that made my store, mine! I loved the look of my store when I was finished, my friends and family told me it looks wonderful.

You have to understand I know nothing about HTML coding, nothing. So when the templates arrived in my e-mail, oh my, I was lost. Not sure what I had expected to get, but this is not what I thought it was going to be.

Of course it came with instructions, but the whole thing might as well have been written in Spanish. I had no idea what a "break line" was or photo hosting or anything else these instructions were referring to.

I knew I wanted this template, I also knew I was way in over my head on this one. No, I need to figure this out and I was going to do it. The lady that I had gotten my templates from also sent me a link to "praticewriter", you can go and do your listings and see what they will look like as you are doing them. So I played for hours, trying to figure this out.

I got one done and to be honest it was ok, but there were boxes next to my pictures that had those little red x's , this was not to my liking.

To my surprise, Sharon took the time to go and see how I was doing with my new templates! Not to many sellers give a hoot after they have their money and shipped. For many that is the end of the story as far as they are concerned. Not Sharon!

Sharon took the time to e-mail me with step by step directions, and I do mean step by step directions how to get those boxes out of my pictures. She was wonderful. I had bought several different templates from her, however my favorite was the one that I changed them all to.

With all of the changing rules and the never ending fee increases on e-bay, I decided I had enough. I started selling my things at a price that most people could afford. There was no way I was going to continue selling and adding to the price to cover e-bay and PayPal fees.

I was reading the AuctionBytes and seen where someone had written saying that there was a new and really wonderful selling venue. If you want to know more about it to e-mail her. So I did, that was the most productive e-mail I have ever sent. She sent me an invitation to Bonanzle. Went there and spent some time reading the boards and checking out the place. Fell in love, opened an account and gave myself 30 days to close my store at e-bay. I was moving out, found a new home and was very excited about it!

Well, Bonanzle has an e-bay importer, great this is going to be so easy. Little did I know at the time, you can't have your HTML templates on Bonanzle. Oh my, what a mess I had imported! OK time to get to work and clean this mess up. I still had my avatar and banner! I was ok, with that, well for the most part.

Closing day came for my e-bay store and the only and I do mean the only thing that I missed was my templates! They were beautiful! The script at Bonanzle is different, so off I went to e-bay looking for Sharon! This new search thing going on, nothing ! Every search I did brought up all kinds of things, however not what I was looking for. Sharon still had to be there, surly she would have told her customers if she was leaving. After several attempts to find her, I gave up all hope that I would. My beautiful templates, filed on my computer in code.

To my surprise two days ago and I am soooo excited about this, someone came to my Bonanzle Booth and said, "Hey I know you!" Now this is like a phone call from someone that you have no idea who it is and hope that they just keep talking long enough for you to figure it out. Well, I finally had to fess up that I didn't know who it was. I felt very shallow, what a feeling. She then told me that SHE was the one that made my avatar! OH YES! NO WAY! All of the time that I had been looking for her and she found me! We talked and I now have her bookmarked as a favorite, because she is and don't plan on losing her again!

Sharon has opened a Bonanzle Booth SNL Designs at http://www.bonanzle.com/booths/dacholiday she is going to work on trying to make templates for Bonanzle! I am just so excited that I may get to have my template back to use again! I you are looking for quality work, and a seller that goes above and beyond customer service, Sharon is the one to go see! She is just wonderul and she doesn't treat you like you are bothering her. She is going to be a real asset to the Bonanzle community! Welcome to Bonanzle Sharon! I am so glad that you are here!
Make sure to stop in and say hey to her!

Today is Tickle Me Tuesday and I will be running a 15% off everything in my Bonanzle Booth Brightest Blessings Wiccans http://www.bonanzle.com/booths/BrightestBlessings
